You create a smartcontract whic pulls data from network of chinknigger nodes which are connected to apis.The nodes themselves are paid each time they provide reliable information otherwuse they are penalised. They have link staked therefore every time they provide unreliable data their stack gets smaller. each time the data is correct they get paid in chainlink.
What im saying is there is no need for someone to use chainlink token to fetch information yet everytime they use the network they indirectly increase price of tokens because supply of link is limited.
