>The things he and Jay Gould did fifty-odd years ago could not be done today, and never should have been done. But then, neither could J.P. Morgan and E.H. Harriman, who were of a different type, do some of the things that nobody dreamed of reproaching them for doing when they did them a few years ago. The methods of high finance have undergone salutary changes and there are more laws and restrictions designed to protect the public. And still the public loses money as easily as ever, because, though methods change and laws multiply and predatory wealth is curbed, the sucker is still the sucker. He is protected against everybody — except himself; and against everything — except the delusion of easy money.
Wtf does that even mean? Sounds like a tier like rh gold. Just buy crypto on a normal exchange like binance otherwise you're just paying rh to buy it for you. Also stop fucking bringing crypto into these threads
Ryder Martinez
ironic -_-; livingston would also be in jail now adays for way his contracted selling jobs

But buying one position, all at once, and holding it until it moons is not experience in the stock market. You’re no different from someone who invests in crypto.
>Trump's tariff threat appears to be working as heavily-armed Mexican police and Marines confront the caravan of migrants from Central America >Mexico dispatched a special unit of 200 agents to intercept 1,000 migrants headed for the United States >The caravan of migrants from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, departed from Ciudad Hidalgo at the Mexico border on >Wednesday morning and walked along a highway toward Tapachula escorted by police >They were met some 11 miles short of their destination by the special unit forming a blockade on the road >The vast majority of the migrants complied with officials' orders and boarded immigration agency vehicles >Others resisted and were wrested to the ground by unarmed officers or fled to the thick forest nearby >Parents sat on the pavement holding their children as the wept and begged authorities not to take them >The confrontation took place as temperatures in the region reached 91 degrees Fahrenheit (33 Celcius) >Several migrants fainted or collapsed from the heat and at least one man received medical attention >An immigration official at the site who was not authorized to speak publicly said the 600 to 800 migrants would initially be taken to an immigration detention center in Tapachula >Mexico latest response came on the eve of an afternoon meeting with White House officials as President Trumps threatened to impose tariffs if the Mexican government does stop illegal migration
You can know everything about the company, the drug, the management, etc., and you’d end up the exact same sad someone who learned all there is to know about GALTcoin.
Some of you guys are alright, stay away from galt permanently.
Henry Davis
Worst of all, you have no ability to add to or trim from your only position, and because you try to ignore your emotional reaction to how the stock trades, you’re not even learning about yourself.
I'm thinking sideways, maybe mixed trading for tomorrow. CNBC was shilling $PEP as a nice growth stock. I don't disagree entirely, but I'm not gonna go scoop up a big bag just because they bought sodastream and are looking at selling CBD infused meme Pepsi

>But buying one position, all at once, and holding it until it moons is not experience in the stock market.
You know, after a few years experience now I'll say the intermediate trading feel is not that much different from that statement. You're more calculated about entry, you do cost average within your risk tolerance and you (should) use a stop loss. Probably you did some surface DD on the company's financials and assessment of their future catalysts to make sure said company is very unlikely to go belly up while you're holding. All that said, you're still buying in around support and crossing your fingers in hopes that whatever forthcoming news the company puts out will be good rather than bad.
Intermediate trading is the true patrician race We will be the last ones standing

It also helps to be well-versed and familiar with an industry. For exam, I feel pretty comfortable with low cap tech stocks, but I stay the fuck away from bio/pharma stocks because I don't know shit about their product
Hunter Wood
Unironically BSV, shit feels like destiny, its going to at minimum be the next 1000 dollar coin but perhaps switch places with Bitcoin, if people believe its superior than Bitcoin and made by the same geniuses behind Bitcoin then BSV will take over.

>Buffett style value investing by finding an undervalued company and holding through the noise is the same as crypto
Half my money is in AMRN. The other half is spread out over T,KDP,CTL,GE,SWPPX,DIS,PINS,and Comcast.

"Buffet style value investing" -- is that a joke?
Buffet doesn't go all-in on one stock just because he thinks it's undervalued. He doesn't place his entire portfolio in a sector as temperamental as new pharmaceuticals.
Buffet does not go all in on one company, not even 20 years old, with two drug candidates and no actual products. A company that has no sales and no profits, not even revenue.
Good luck with your shitcoin. I hope you get lucky so you can dump it on the greater fool.
>smug wannabe boomer who has no idea what he's actually talking about
you remind me of Dobber when he first started trading in November or so
Camden Davis
Going all in on one stock might be dumb but it is still not as dumb as crypto
Asher Myers
You remind me of a gayer big5fag but more effeminate. Maybe you'll suicide as well.
Austin Sanders
your choice, make sure you do your DD beforehand and know what you're buying

They're doing well in snacks, I think they were shilling it because KO was hitting 52-week highs. CPB is crushing it with Kettle chips though, that may also be why it was getting extra attention.
Are you the same user that was posting about $DIS? Do you spend a lot of time on stocktwits or something?
I knew that this new X-men movie was going to be box-office poison, probably everyone did. Fox should've paid Disney just to take it off their hands. I'm hoping for some short term price drops. If intensified by a downturn in the market, could be a good buying opportunity before the summer/winter line-up.
Gas is cheap. Let's all take a roadtrip to Disney.
Marky will probably see this as a positive, but I think Trump's real goal may very well be just to tariff Mexico. He's passing out tariffs like mardigras beads.
I really want to agree with you, but you can at least learn about yourself scalping crypto. As much as I dislike it, I think it is here to stay as an asset class now that large institutions have taken an interest.
Obviously, I don't expect it to have the staying power of precious metals, but it's become an interesting "market" to speculate on.
IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FREE MARKET YOU FUCKING ANIME POSTER

>more than 20% of my holdings now are probably inverse funds Worst part it, trump can send us into absolute raging bull with a tweet if he feels like it. Or China/Mexico/Iran/NK/Anyone just says "oh no Burger, you win, take whatever you want" and we back at all time highs.
I'm at a hotel for a conference in Atlanta . Semi qt asked if the seat next to me at the bar was taken. I mustered up the courage to ask her if she was there for the conference but she said now. She just looked at her phone for a half hour and left. Still has a few sips of beer left too.
Angel Gomez
YOU WANT FREE MARKET BUT YOU DONT WANT FED BUYING WHICH OXYMORON!!!
Any discussions about X and where it could be going? I bought puts eod yesterday after that huge rally. I felt pretty bad watching bulls post on ST but the charts dont lie and it looks like a total dumpster fire imo.
the goalposts keeps on getting pushed further and further >muh trade deal with china will come soon >muh trade deal with mexico will come soon >muh federal reserve will lower rates
Jackson Reyes
the fed will lower rates, but we're not getting a trade deal with china or mexico.
Logan Lewis
And just one of them needs to happen for us to blast off, like a rocket, like TrumpSama promised us! He said fed cutting rates would be like rocketfuel for the economy!
Could you imagine if all of it happened, one after another, after another!
BOOM!!! Hypergrowth! And then, right after the election...
they'll lower rates until the rates can't be lowered and then they'll have to try "new" momentary policy that will probably just result in hyperinflation
Jaxson Ross
oh god I forgot about QE4

On an unrelated blogposting note, I actually did score a date with an 18yo. She even graduates from high school this week. I should absolutely fucking do this shit, right?
>She looks fun. That's not her; that's amanda mariee /deum0s. Look her up on ML/pornhub if you're into her. The girl I found is basically the same idea though -- very fucking hot and the thought of her would piss off every single little yuppie chick that I went to college with
Gabriel Brown
>the thought of her would piss off every single little yuppie chick that I went to college with
Fantastic.
Nathan White
>drawings on arm and bracelets ah sweet youth >That's not her Oh good, you already know. I wasn't sure how I was going to break the news to you...
So what's your question? Maybe check ID and the laws in your area. Have fun and wrap that shit up so you don't catch Thotism.
