Cashing Out

Biz I'm a young rich chigga, wanting to cash out on a new whip

>budget ~100k
I'm really split between the Nissan R36 GTR and Porche 718 GT4, both rumored to show up in Goodwood Festival of Speed this July.

Nissan will depreciate like shit while the 718 GT4 would be a decent buy seeing how 918 GT4 appreciated in normally depreciating market.

BUT,
who the hell doesn't want to own a GTR? It has stronger sentimental value for me since I've always wanted one growing up.

Anyway any other anons cashing out their gains?

Is this the only car to get a facelift and look worse?

Don't cash out per se, and save yourself the capital gains tax. Most luxury/sportscar dealers actually accept btc as currency.

You’ll be broke in 3-5 years

R36 designs aren't even out yet, or are you saying R35 is bad?

Nigger

pretty sure the r36 isn't coming out till like 2026 or later.

you won't get allocated a gt4 so set your sights on something else

Porsche 718

GTR, all porsches look the same.

you buy a supercar for people's attention, most people cant tell the difference between porsches

He’s basically right. If you are spending a high percent of your net worth on a depreciating asset like a car you won’t have wealth for long.

That's the redesign R37, supposedly with hybrid drive train iirc
I went to a Porche dealer 2 years ago for the 918 GT4 and they were willing to get me on a spot with a dealer markup.

>Porche

they are not making a hybrid gtr

Young rich nigga here, thinking about dropping a millie on these hoes and flexin in my rari. Can't decide what color tho

I'm not, so don't worry about that. I'm a little reluctant to spend on GTR for that reason specifically. GT4s dont depreciate.
For R36 no. For R37 with new redesign, no one knows.

Hi Arthur

The GTR is probably more functional lol

Waste of Money cars are a meme, just get something that is comfy and safe. It’s just to get you from A to B get a 20-30k car and save the rest

how much of a dealer markup
weren't they going for like 120-130k when they were released
at that price point you can get a 2014-2016 911 turbo s that already too the heavy depreciation
I still don't think you'll get allocated, they want life long porsche customers

Nah porsches are meant to be low key and uniform. The suv models are the flex ones

the cayman gt4 is probably the coolest car at that price point

Will LMFAO when antifa or jealous teenagers key your whip. Smart people buy Toyotas and don't give a flying fuck what they drive. You just need something to get from point a to point b.

Which toyota?

2020 supra

They were asking market price markups for it.
Used 911 is meh honesty, doesn't have the same charm as the GT4

Porsche, not even close.

honestly i'd get neither. If youre gonna spend 100k might as well spend a little more and get a slightly used 570s or some shit.

GTRs look like fucking weird sedans, my I showed my gf a GTR and she was like "whats special about it" and I was like "it just goes fast" LOL

Get something more exotic if you're gonna spend fucking 6 figs on a fucking car bro srs

or you could take that money and make a down payment on some real estate. Don't be a chigger!

wtf is a marketprice mark up

>my I showed my gf a GTR and she was like "whats special about it" and I was like "it just goes fast" LOL
If you want an "attention" car then import a kei car or van.

I took profit at about 8k and took a trip, waiting for the market to cool off, but I'm scaling back in.
My car is fine. I want a house, with no debt attached.

Just get a tesla roadster and put all other gas cars to shame

if i made it i would buy the redeye.. i know you burgers dont like that car. but for me i love it.

I need the money.

>he didn't go to the porch dealer once he made it

m5, m6, m4. All modifiable to 9xxwhp on that budget...with some to spare

Any asset conversion is a taxable event
You will be relying on the dealer not reporting you

>chigga
You have to go back.

Cars are a bad investment and a waste of money. Go rent a dream car or do a track experience. The thrill wears off of having a car tied around your neck. Just get a reliable car that you don't mind getting dinged up to drive around.

GTR > Porsche

Porsche has so many problems after you hit 50-60K in milage.

GTR looks like a doorstop. Ugliest supercar ever.

LOL at getting a GTR as a fucking sleeper car

we all know people buy exotic cars for TWO reasons.

They are rare and get attention, and they go fast. Nothing else.

GTR's aren't rare, and they honestly aren't that fast, definitely not for an AWD car either.

I'd go for a mclaren, a really nice viper, or something like that. Something that looks more exotic. A GTR just looks like a souped up japanese sedan car, but honestly thats kind of what it is at this point.

Anything not a 911 is a Gaymen.

GTR isca savegly fast car my dude.

It's between a Porsche & the one you always wanted.

If you don't know who to solve this decision, god help you.

I'm jealous. DAMN!

it doesn't really even beat a z06, or a zl1 camaro, or a charger hellcat, or a challenger hellcat, which PLENTY of people have on the street.

But it's awd so you can actually lay the power down. People don't realize how bad regular streets are.

Hot cars like M2 and GT4 have pretty standard dealer markups. They wanted to charge whatever other dealers were charging, and wouldn't budge. Told me I was lucky to even get a spot considering I've never bought porche.
I did consider M2 competition. Probably the M2 CS if I go bimmer.
Hard because I'm dropping a lot of money. If I could I would grab both and be done with it.
We are all gonna make it. Just keep on trying

I want a 1996 camry. yup, they don't make em like they used ta

oh the pains of figuring out what you want to buy and potentially buyers remorse when you can just drive whatever comfy car you have at least until it starts giving you problems

rav4

I’d rather import the R33 or R32 and spend 75k on upgrades like HKS/Tomei/Amuse parts. Then again you newfags don’t get your hands dirty so sure get the new R36

point being is you're basically drived a souped up sedan.

You'd get more pussy, respect, and looks if you just bought an audi rs7 prestige edition, which is just as fast as a GTR, and looks better.

The new charger and challengers look worse than the pre 2000 versions too
