Diamond Industry

Can you red pill me on the diamond industry and becoming a jeweler?

I know a few people whose parents were successful in other fields (lawyers, entreprenuers), then got into the diamond business and are stupid rich.

It almost seems like its a front. Is there money to be made in the diamond business? What are the typical margins for a jeweler?

They're literally Jewrocks. Do something else.

great post

Read the book you fucking faggot.

This is a crypto board u asshole

Its an industry based on sales. The great thing is that margins are insanely high and motivated buyers are common (like in car dealerships).

Open up a Jewelery store and if you can learn to convince people to spend $5000-20000 on a ring instead of $1000, you will be extremely sucessful in the business.

The industry is run by actual jews. Not the conspiracy ((())) kind. Actual israelies who will never let you succeed.

tru, with a name like the Diamond "Syndicate" can't be any more in your face with that.

also it is one of the few industries which nobody touches and the obvious cartel controlling mining and creating artificial scarcity and thus achieving easy price fixing is magnanimously overlooked by every government in the world.

It is a very exclusive club too, nobody new gets in and that is that.

I looked into getting into diamonds years ago so I read up about the industry. is basically correct, it's pretty much a Jewish-controlled trade that is very hard to get into if you're not Jewish or don't have solid Jewish connections. And I don't even mean liberal Jews who might be down with the goyim — in places like New York and Antwerp the diamond trade is controlled by Haredi Jews who are endogamous as fuck. Good luck if you try.

They're a scam. Artificial scarcity caused by regulations. Remember these movies about "blood diamonds" and all these poor niggers dying because of warlords becoming powerful based off diamond traffic? That was the propaganda they used to justify restricting more and more the diamond supply.

In reality diamonds should be pretty cheap. Not saying it's a bad market to earn money but the barrier of entry is extremely high.

How do I buy a diamond engagement ring in Australia without getting scammed? Moissanite shills not welcome.

Fuck off we're full

I am one of around 200 diamond cutters in America. The only way is sales truly.. I have two custom cuts that sell well but it's hard as a cutter. 95% of diamonds are cut in India. Alot of the sales unless your big time are how cheap can you go.. I strongly recommend staying away from the diamond business

Oh well I guess being a jeweler is a great option. I've also been a goldsmith for almost 10 years now. If you like working with your hands and are creative then definitely pursue this desire. You will start out polishing castings usually at first and if you have retail experience get a part time job selling jewelry. It's so much work though.. and pricing your artwork is the hardest part. Good luck

Austrrrralia is a verrrrry big countrrrry my god sir. I am surrrrre we all fit in

you can have the big desert in the middle and the bottom of the bight

Look into greymarket diamonds and police auctions, look for vintage pieces, learn how to identify diamonds ( apparently the chinks learned how to grow BIG fake diamonds by useing smaller REAL IF diamonds, thos are becoming a problem but are still rare.
Find an old ring and have it reset, and watch the jewler do it. If they wont let you watch with a coke in your hand walk away. Just be polite and and pay a fair resetting price.
The important part is not buying a worthless piece of crap. Deals can be had at pawnshops, make friends with a local pawnshop owner and tell em your shopping for your wife to be.
Tell them you plan to send the gem to GIA and if it all checks out youll pay in full.

Go check for some diamonds on catawiki.com en then find a setter to put in on a ring you bought in a jewelry store.

Probably shrinking profits, more and more people are learning that diamonds in reality are not rare or legitimately valuable at all. They are pretty much useless.

This and it's not a meme

You can't spell Jewel without Jew

scam market. fake scarcity.

also now you can have fakes that are indistinguishable from real ones so it's game over for the industry.

Diamonds can be made artificially. There is even a company that turns cremated ashes of loved ones into a diamond for you.

I've never understood this. Diamonds are so fucking boring compared to Tanzanite, sapphires, rubies, amber, etc.

No it's not you fucking faggot

Jewrocks. They're literally worth nothing. Do not buy into the diamond Jew. Do not interact with jewellers. It's in the name.

This

I think Alexandrite is much sexier than some bland diamond.
