What's happening?
It's all true? WTF
I-is this what it feels like to win, sergpai?
Muh dick hard nigga !
Wish Sergey would have replied. This is certainly interesting but isn't a confirmation of anything. Gonna do some re digging on Nexledger.
I do find his wording interesting though. You could take it as he predicted this as a key tipping point (which he did say in an interview a while back) but you could also read it as Sergey predicted this.
this has nothing to do with chainlink stop spreading lies
What does this mean? Brainlet linky here
>@SergeyNazarov has nothing to do with Chainlink
k fren
It means that se esta pasando ESTA NOCHE
There was a lot of speculation a while back that Samsung was using link. Their nexledger offering is eerily similar to link's offering. They said they were using TEEs, referenced Smart Contract (not in a general sense), and offer a Docusign like system. Link was also double the price for some time on Korean exchanges. This could have been insider trading, but we don't know anything for sure. This tweet just kind of shines a light on these older theories.
This is pure speculation. always wait for the tweet from the Chainlink Official Twitter for confirmation.
I know of the rumors but doesn’t this twit imply samsung and chainlink are competitors?
Read again and look at the link...
The tweet Yorke is retweeted is about Apple iPhone vs Samsung.
so it's Apple vs Samsung?
Yeah I'm all in and holding either way
I didn't get that out of it but I had the Samsung/link speculation in my head
Correction: the tweet Yorke is retweeting is about Apple possibly adding a native crypto wallet to the iPhone.
And Yorke is pointing out that Samsung is doing the same, so it's a bit of a race between them.
And that he predicted this race.
Okay here's the red pill about Yorke, he's a typical boomer who doesn't understand social media the same way we do and what this really means is that he simply had a casual conversation with Sergey during that last meet-up about crypto mobile adoption and other random subjects, if you understand boomers and conference small talks you'd understand this. This in no way implies a Microsoft partnership, just that they are on friendly terms, and even less so any kind of Samsung connection, it was just mobile vs mobile crypto wars as the subject of a small casual conference chat. Learn how to properly analyze context from a tweet before going full retard. But just ignore this post and remain deluded if you prefer.
This seems most plausible to me too, I'm afraid. Never really bought into the Yorke as a MS breadcrumb, he seems to much like a boomer clueless what he signals on social media
you obviously missed the entire point of shilling /our coin/ on this board.
Thank you honest boomer whisperer
You are right but it's undeniable he seems to have a pretty good relationship with Sergey. And that is bullish.
For what it's worth I think it's very likely link will be integrated into their BaaS product but it won't be a big announcement when it occurs, and link will just be one backend service alongside many others. Similar to kaleido. And eventually clovyr etc.
Everyone on biz has already been link pilled for 2 years baka
hi rory, you can tell us here, its anonymous
No it's nothing concrete on it's own but considering the other surrounding factors there "could" be something more going on.
Someone smarter than me tell me if I'm retarded for wondering if this is significant. It's random number generation in a cryptographic environment.
developer.apple.com
>Wish Sergey would have replied
>Sergey replies
>fat sergey memes start being posted
>True randomization is not possible in a deterministic system, such as one where software instructions from a bounded set are executed according to well-defined rules. But even "good" randomization (in a statistical sense) is difficult to produce under these conditions. If an attacker can infer patterns in insufficiently randomized data, your system becomes compromised. Use randomization services to generate a cryptographically secure set of random numbers.
>Thanks Yorke, just bought 100k
Doesn't matter
Boomers are too retarded and soon too poor to have anything to do with crypto, and the Zoomers and Millenials will not throw out their worthless FIAT to buy spyphones in the future instead of food, but good to know that they are gone pump our magical internet money once more in hope we will not abandon their hope and dreams, let their visions die in a gutter and have all their institutions burned to the ground
Well if you want to use random numbers in a smart contract, then you pretty much have to use an oracle.
Because like the explanation says, true/good randomization is non-deterministic while a blockchain (i.e. the smart contract backbone) is deterministic; and oracles are designed specifically to bridge this gap.
Yes this just stood out to me because I remember a Sergey video where he talks about this. I just don't know enough about programming to understand if that's what's going on here.
This would make sense if Sergey was active on twitter, but he NEVER uses it beyond official Chainlink posts. Why tag him when they never interact on the platform?
He surely reads twitter and the mention will get highlighted on his feed.
>t. Boomer
You're thinking too autistically and logically. This is exactly what a boomer would do. He doesn't realize Sergey is not active. He thinks he's hip for tweeting to the younger, crypto startup ceo.
I actually agree with this. In his mind there is no way that there are people analyzing every word spoken by or to Sergey 24/7
This has nothing to do with Chainlink or anything...
It's just a guy saying "hey check this out! Remember I talked about this?" Probably a play on words because he called it and Sergey works on oracles...Cryptokit has nothing to do with cryptocurrency right now.
Yorke wasn't the one speculating that Cryptokit has anything to do with cryptocurrency.
That was Ethereum Network.
It's an article from "cryptoslate" from someone who clearly doesn't understand cryptokit. I literally just looked at it...it has absolutely nothing to do with cryptocurrency.
... and Ethereum's official Twitter account retweeted it.
Why are you having such difficulty?
And what exactly does that mean? That someone running Ethereum's twitter thinks it is interesting? People who run social media accounts aren't exactly sharp with cryptography. Do you brainlets really just watch twitter and try to make decisions based on what people tweet? What a remedial and pathetic strategy...
>And what exactly does that mean?
It means Ethereum is officially speculating Apple's cryptokit is related to cryptocurrency.
And this is what Yorke retweeted.
This really shouldn't be this hard.
Also, I dare you to make a post without ellipsis.
>confusing crypto with cryptography
know-nothing detected
I really wish people would learn the facts first here instead of retardedly just sharing shit as if they know what they're talking about.
CyproKit from Apple is NOT for cryptocurrency. It doesn’t even have the algorithm support for crypto currency.
It is a new swift framework for securing application data encrypted using private keys stored in the security enclave of the iOS rather than in memory.
This will not without drastic changes to the security enclave be useful for crypto. I am sure it will happen eventually but at this time does not support it.
Does this mean Jesusanon wasn't larping? FFS if he's the one larper that was legit I might jump off a bridge.
>CyproKit from Apple is NOT for cryptocurrency.
Well, Ethereum is speculating it is related to cryptocurrency.
>enclave for private keys
>ability to sign messages from enclaves
That's all that is needed
It literally has nothing to do with cryptocurrency right now.
the main advantage is the private keys aren’t stored in memory but encrypted in the Secure Enclave..
so if stored in memory I could exploit potentially dumping the memory and this getting the private keys... if they are stored in the Secure Enclave well then they are secure
This is not about cryptocurrency. I don't care what Ethereum tweeted. If you retards didn't have such a myopic view where everything is about cryptocurrency, you'd understand that this is much more significant than magic internet shitcoins. And that is what the tweet in OP is regarding. Apple and Samsung don't give two shits about Ethereum. Ethereum is a school project compared to this massively successful tech giants.
>If you retards didn't have such a myopic view where everything is about cryptocurrency, you'd understand
Why are you calling Ethereum Network retards?
Tell me how Apple is providing the ability to generate random numbers in the enclave? Serious.
>the main advantage is the private keys aren’t stored in memory but encrypted in the Secure Enclave..
This directly pertains to core cryptocurrency mechanisms. If you deny this, you know nothing about how crypto works.
Here's what they tweeted:
"Apple's CryptoKit will provide developers with the ability to add hashing, key generation, and encryption to iOS apps, and the kit has many excited for the possibility of a native iPhone crypto wallet."
I'm calling them retarded because they're literally using the term "crypto"in "cryptokit" to try to convince people that it has anything to do with cryptocurrency and it doesn't. This is laughable and it just further proves how little anyone in this space understands even the slightest bit about the tech behind cryptocurrency.
There are some people on this site every now and then that actually know what they're talking about.
Anonymous (ID: 9N684Lo7) is calling EthereumNetwork retarded for believing Cryptokit may possibly lead to a native iphone crypto wallet.
It's time to check your ego, user.
why does the one big guy talking about link have to be such a fucking boomer retard
Yes, good point. Sure, it COULD lead to that. But that isn't why they put it out and using the term "crypto" to generate hype right now is annoying. I wasn't negating any future possibility, I'm just saying right now it has absolutely nothing to do with cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency wasn't even a consideration as much as allowing people to "own their own data"
run down of jesusanon larp?
If you actually read the article: cryptoslate.com
there are some pretty neat indications that do point towards iphone crypto wallet integration.
Notably:
>what caused the biggest commotion in the crypto community was the fact that CryptoKit will allow developers to use public-key cryptography to create and evaluate digital signatures and perform key exchanges.
and
>The launch of CryptoKit coincided with information leaking out about Apple incorporating Bitcoin’s symbol on their icon set. The four Bitcoin in-app symbols will all be compatible with Apple’s San Francisco font.
I wouldn't say it's that far-fetched; certainly not enough to call EthereumNetwork out for "hyping".
Every samsung device would use link, working as a node cranking money to samsung
He isn't having difficulty.
He's being disingenuous because he was retarded enough to sell at 90c.
I believe you user, and I'm a brainlet who has spent no more than a few minutes reading your posts. If I can understand this, anyone can.
You have to understand that nobody is saying this is 'definitely' related to crypto.
As this pic: clearly shows, this is about the POSSIBILITY of a native iphone crypto wallet.
And the indications in that direction are pretty interesting.
So there's no reason to call anyone involved out for undue hype.
Yeah, my understanding is that this a step towards a secure enclave first and maybe currency later.
The mention of the term 'wallet' is premature and misleading.
With enclaves, one can built wallet software easily.
There are a number of clear indications in that direction, so saying there's a possibility isn't premature or misleading at all.
>my understanding is (...) maybe currency later.
Congrats on saying EXACTLY what everyone involved in the twitter screenshots are saying.
Also congrats on calling your own claim you just made "premature and misleading".
Wait, so will I be able to run my own node off my phone? I wont need to learn how to use Linux and shiet?
I aim to please.
buy BTC2 incel
Said it two years ago and I'll say it again; making money during the goldrush by selling shovels
Link will be between both of the companies
Rory here. Buy confido. Partnering with Joost soon
No. Samsung would get all the revenue from that, it would just run in the backround without you noticing
