i have traditional assets that are much safer than anything in cryptocurrency
cryptocurrency is, for me, a complete longshot
if crypto makes it, i want some unimaginable returns, so i figure go with high risk within an already high risk field
for anything that i would put into BTC or ETH, id rather just put it into a 401(k) or TSLA or something, all my crypto money is balls deep risk

They give it for "watching ads" that you'd watch anyway ( because adblock doesn't block all of the ads), while also blocking trackers and what not. You then use it to subscribe to your internet platform of choice (eg. netflix, amazon prime) or to donate to content creators (eg. streamers, artists, bloggers, instagram whores). The second part is obviously working process.

I didn't think about the Netflix amazon implications. I still don't see it as an investable project yet because the majority of people will just skip the ads. Poor people will mine the ads trying to make BAT while the well off can just buy the BAT. They need to not be an adblocker but have the ads and pay accordingly.

I think it can hit a couple $, so personally I'm thinking of buying 200-300$ worth of BAT right now while using their browser, getting more and more of it. Once it hits those numbers and stays there I would be good to go with my online subscriptions for many years. If it doesn't work out it is only loss of 200$ so I won't mind that much.
