It went from $1 to $1400 in about a year, I don't think it's much of a stretch to think it could do a 30-40x from here, especially with more adoption, awareness, and improvements to the network.

Most of the people fucking around with shitcoins trying to find "hidden gems" are going to get burned hard in pump and dump scams. ETH is already established and nothing is going to dethrone it for its purpose. It's the safest one to accumulate long term aside from BTC. If you have a decent chunk of ETH you'll make it eventually.

The fact that it's been performing worse than it's peers as of late means it hasn't had it's day yet. It's going to pump hard when it finally does. It should be something you acquire while it's still relatively cheap.

Remember that ICO's also dumped it. Harder than they pumped it, because the price got higher than when most of them got their ICO ETH.

ICOs also take investor money and burn it on wages, meaning a lot of investor money that goes into ICOs is money that bleeds out from crypto.

We also haven't gotten any real gains into crypto via organic demand from those ICOs yet, because the ones that aren't scams or failures are not yet commercially ready.

I bought one ETH for $300 in October 2017. I love that you assume anyone with money didn't make it themselves. There is nothing impressive with anythintg less than 10x returns in this space.

Nobody claims ETH is going to be the best performer but it is the only crypto besides BTC that matters long term so saying its dumb to hold it is crazy. It is 50x'ing within 2 years, some alts will outperform it but at the end of the day who is going to be unhappy with 50x gains in two years.

Its not a dumb hold at all. Eth is very solid. Im just not ready to give up my alts for it yet. Like i said i went from 10 eth woth to around 24 now with alts. Ill switch to eth when the time is right. As a poorfag im trying to increase my eth.

think about the implications of what you're saying. either ethereum is valuable and projects on top of it are valuable, or ethereum isn't valuable.
