this is my last day as a free man.
tomorrow i become a wagecuck slave. ama
This is my last day as a free man
I don't have any questions, but do yourself a favor. You must try as hard as humanly possible to not think about work when you aren't at work. This is very important.
>when you aren't at work
they have 45 hour work weeks
also commuting daily is going to take ~3hour total
also i am easily tired. so most likely would sleep as soon as i come home after having around 3-4hours of free time. any tips to avoid sleep after coming home?
sat and sunday are off.
Oh dear. This won't end well for you.
Good goy giving good advice. Bless your bags and hope they moon. Wish I knew this years ago.
My tip for you is to move closer to work or to find a job closer to home. That commute isn't realistic, but the 45 hours is fine as long as it isn't regularly pressing beyond that.
>they have 45 hour work weeks
india?
>45 minutes is fine
>also commuting daily is going to take ~3hour total
Fix this. Run the numbers on shortening your commute to 90, 60, hell, 10 minutes.
Hourly rate * 20 wage days a month Difference in rent
whats ur folio
60 hour work week here, was gonna say that those are punk bitch hours but spending 3 hours daily on work-related shit that you dont even get paid for is the most cucked thing i could possibly imagine
do anything to change this or youre gonna wanna kys a few months down the line
can't housing is really expensive in central part of the city
si
i know this is exactly what i hate about it too. i have to use public transport too which is really crowded @ office timing.
around 2000$ spread across btc, matic, fet, xrp, ltc, trx, btt
well hey if you absolutely have to do this at least you'll have 3 hours daily you can dedicate to listening to audiobooks so you can maximize those financial and personal gains
First off, remember your main priority is to use indoor plumbing. This is a key to western success.
>i have to use public transport too which is really crowded @ office timing.
See if you can do flex time. Starting at 7 leaving at 4, or starting at 10 and leaving at 7.
Also, like I said, calculate how much you value your time per hour, multiply that by commuting time lost per month. Free time is essential to learning new skills, starting side businesses, or finding better jobs.
And I forgot, in addition to flex time, see if your job can be done remotely. Perhaps just once a week to start and screenshare with your boss to prove you're not just fucking around. He'd probably sympathize with not wanting to commute every day.
Failing that, see if you can get a "when my work's done I go home" deal. Depends on the nature of the job, but that kind of piecework approach will incentivize you to be efficient and quick.
flex timing would probably be possible plus they also have free cab drops after 8pm
its a mnc so most probably its no to remote as well as going home when work's done.
thanks for the advice though.
the only thing good is that atleast the pay is p nice compared to other companies here.
I changed job to 2 miles away from work. Do standard factory shifts weekly rotating. Have loads of free time every day, get my shit done in the week relax at weekends.
Also living very close you are more able/willing to say yes to overtime, when some peoples commute + work is pretty much 6am-6pm anyway. You could work overtime for 12 hours with basically no commuting time
How did you spend your spare time?
Kill yourself.
Better one day as a lion than 1000 as a sheep
bla bla bla he fell for the jew motivational and destructive quotes
this probably but its my first job and software development related, idk if this company provides overtime, from the looks of it doesnt look like it.
was in college till now, if not at college i mostly watched movies/tv or worked on freelance gig + other personal projects
dont worry user itll be over in 40 to 50 years
If you don't like the job enough to move closer in 3 months apply to other jobs. I've done the commute thing, it sucks. 12 hour day working from home > 8 hours + any commute over 45min
LISTEN CAREFULLY
You will hate being a wagie at the beginning but YOU WILL EVENTUALLY COPE after 5 years.
You will think coping is good but DO NOT FORGET THIS IS WRONG.
Just try to remember your roots, your goals, your freedom when you were a kid.
Do not get trapped into the wage-cage environment. You are going to see managers with 20+ years experience working on the same position. You will probably respect them but in fact they are losers who always lived the wage-cage life.
Do other things in life.
I simply love how a board dedicated to finance is the most anti-work on Jow Forums
t-thanks user
i am not going to die a wagie no way
most probably will, reviews on glassdoor about the company work env are not the best either (2.5/5)
i think i could probably reduce some time if i buy a motorcycle, already have a car but it would be really expensive to use that daily esp considering that i live in a city with terrible traffic.
> a board dedicated to finances the most anti-work on Jow Forums
WRONG
we are dedicated to financial freedom, 9 to 5 work kills much of that
At one point I realized that driving is dangerous and I'll be damned if I die while putting in unpaid time getting to work. Motorcycles may be quicker, but would have defeated the purpose for me. Maybe you don't live in a crowded area though and this doesn't apply
There’s only one reason to work and that is to not work
That is one of most truthful things I have read here.
I have known people (myself included) who really struggled mentally with the wagecuck life when they began, but like you say after approx 5 years they begin to cope.
Also I noticed some people (boomers) can get outright hostile if you suggest that wage cucking to get a mortgage, wife and kids isn't what you think the meaning of life is. They can insult and ridicule you for being dissatisfied with the average wage cuckoo lifestyle.
/wagie/ general
I'm starting tomorrow as well
looking forward to it, it's just a tool to get money to invest and eventually put into real estate
thats the way i look at waging, a means to an end, which is freedom away from waging
Self employed, UK, 55 hour weeks are minimum. Welcome to being a wagecuck. :(
>(boomers) can get outright hostile...
if youre a slave freedom seems like an insult
Hey, me too. Only this job pays six figures.
the best job is not having a job
>this is my last day as a free man.
Remember what it feels like to be a free man.Its easy to forget it after a few years of wagekeking
>dont live in a crowded area
i live in world's 2nd most densely populated city
i wonder if everyone starts wagecucking this way, to think it as a means to an end, i think so too, but i still haven't seen many(any?) people who have escaped it
retiring over 40yrs is meaningless anyways so exclude that.
is amazing and boring at the same time for me.
