I have lost 30lbs in the last 2.5 months. I also started working out for 1st time in my life really other than doin active stuff when i was younger(snowoarding, wakeboarding...etc). And I am old fuck. But boy I am seeing a huge change in my body and in 6months or so I will be looking pretty damn good. I can already see changes that I thought I would never see. All this while going through depression due to my weekly fuck wanting to take a break. I just hope it is not permanent. Not really, I have no motivation to.

I finished college/uni 10 years ago. Was completely alone all 4 years, didn't make a single friend or gf. Found some meaning in my studies, but that ended as soon as I graduated and began wageslaving. Thought things might improve then, but nothing did and that's when it really started. The few meaningful relationships I had from being a kid (one friend and family members) all deteriorated and gone. Stopped caring about women shortly after, wasn't intrested in most of them and they weren't interested in me. Fast forward to a year ago, meet this foreign girl who was different, instantly was in love like I was a teenager again with a bad case of 'oneitis' Kind of snapped out of my state for awhile, but I ended up blowing that chance as well and sunk even deeper after that.

My life is a cycle of mental torment and failure. I've found ways to distract myself over the years but they don't work anymore. It's all very tiring and thought of dying brings me no anxiety or fear whatsoever anymore. Just comfort.

Make a list of things in your life that you're not happy with. Make another list with how you would like your life to be, simple things are the best. Now you have some goals, next try to figure out how to reach those goals with as small steps as possible. Read your lists often to remind yourself of what it is you want and don't want.
Make a spreadsheet with three columns: what was good today, what was bad, how can tomorrow be better. Update daily. No victory is too small to add. Did you make your bed for the first time in forever? Put it in the good column etc.
This all might sound silly but I really felt that writing it all down in this way helped me a lot.

Now I can't tell you how you should live your life, but things that I can guarantee will make you feel better are: Exercise, a healthy diet, going to sleep at a reasonable hour (before midnight) and getting up early.

I have piles of notebooks from over the years. A couple times of week I would write down my problems, things to do, goals and attempt to try and solve them. There are many repeating pages needless to say.

I eat healthy and go to the gym despite it being incredibly difficult to find the energy, I’m incredibly fit. Hasn’t helped at all. Can’t do anything about my sleep because of my job
