Only in the Asian markets, as far as I can tell. Half of weeb shit in general is romance for guys. We had a small but pretty cool indie music scene around here (I'm being intentionally vague to not out my geographic location and age) and from my like my middle school years to high school it was the coolest and most positive thing I've ever experienced. I made most of my friends there and all that and we are all likeminded and connect well because of it but lately long after I've grown out of it ive kept in touch with a lot of related social media to the topic and it's all being capitalized on by useless leeches like half ass photographers and social clout seeking individuals (mostly women by the way, who to be quite honest were essentially uninvolved and uninterested with the scene at the time of my experience). It's all fucking gossip, who is a cheater rapist, donate to my patreon and this unrelated political activism that I'm involved in, a bunch of pseudo Marxist shit about inclusion of women or whatever as if there was even a barrier preventing them from joining in the first place (which is even more hilarious considering women didn't give a shit about it when it was peak quality and really thought most of us were fucking weird dorks for participating in the first place) It's so fucking abhorrent and the music coming from that place is largely fucking low quality and basic.
