Does anyone else here hate paper money...

Does anyone else here hate paper money? It's the 21st century already and it's pretty fucked up that we still place so much value on these tiny pieces of fucking cotton paper! When is the paperless money society gonna happen??

Cash is great I use it all the time to hide from the tax man.

I avoid paying with credit cards generally. For freedom's sake, insist on paying cash. When a business pressures you to pay in an identified way, it's your chance to defend freedom by saying, "If you won't take my cash, no sale!"

I found a tip at work, I also pick up coins and cans. Old habits die hard.

What a cuck.

What the fuck am I looking at?

We have a cognitive bias towards physical things and visual reference to "size" aka a stack of $20000 is more exhilarating than that number in a bank account.

Maybe this will clarify things: The US government put in place a paper reduction drive but instead of "less" distractions, we are facing exponentially more in the amount of emails and chats and what not. A boss putting out a paper memo incurs a cost. A boss sending 5 email memos faces far less resistance.

i feel gross after handling paper money

Somebody told me that when you swipe your card at a store they're able to obtain your phone number is this true?

I like to lick every note and coin to boost my immune system

if you can't touch something, you don't really own it

cash is king

Nice try Keynes.

what's fucked up is that most people are using privatized currency (credit/debit). We're dependent on private companies to provide us with fucking currency now. If you don't think that's scary, think about the growing trend of large companies refusing to serve customers with different political beliefs.
What happens when Visa/Mastercard decide to do what Twitter and Google do to people who disagree?

We unironically need government-owned debit cards.
