KYC will destroy crypto

KYC will destroy crypto

They are ramping it up absolutely everywhere, it's almost impossible these days to get cryptos without a long painful registration on exchanges. Even fucking shitDEX like IDEX ask for it.
We all know normies have very weak attention span and when something is a little bit difficult they will just give up and go watch porn or the last youtube e-eceleb (or whatever normies do these days to fill the emptiness inside their minds).

The next step is to force people to declares their blockchain addresses and ban the use of 100% privacy cryptos like Monero. They will send people in prison for that or rape them with financial penalty if they don't, ofc the (((US government))) will push that on all his vassals.

Only Alphabet agencies frontend companies like Facebook, Google and co will not require to go through all these hoops to sell their shitcoins.
Salami tactics

you talk straight out of your ass nothing more

takes 1 minute to enter your fucking email and upload your Id

What’s the point of submitting a photo for chinks when they all look the same?

They literally ask you to go through a video chat these days faggot and look at the camera with your fucking ID card
.
Besides you have to be a turbo retards to not see the problem with all these faggots getting your datas, these databases are hacked all the time and it's a fucking nightmare when some chink on the other side of the globe begins to use your stolen identity for whatever shady business.

It's just the first step anyway, they will be more and more oppressive.
All anti-privacy apologist like you should be shot.

underrated reply

quite the opposite, it locks out autists that dont want to show their face. normies whip out their phones and do the id process in 1 minute while taking a shit at work

I don't even care anymore
This is the future, where every single company wants to know and will know your name and biometrics
Already at the airport, they have self-operating passport gates and even boarding gates to get onto the plane where your face is scanned.

>tfw no qt korean ico kyc gf
why even live

What the fuck is everybodys problem with KYC?

>Long and painful registration

It literally takes fucking 1 minute to dig up your driving license and send any non-pajeet exchange a photo of it. That's it, you lazy fucking scumbag. KYC is big for crypto, because it makes the market appealing to actual normies and boomers with money, instead of a few shitposting larpers who think that he and his pal billy will get filthy rich by sending linkies back and forth to each other. Fucking hell.

You will get fucked when you realize what's up retard but it will be too late.

No one is complaining about the process. Its that:

1. You are trusting yet another random ass third party with extremely private information, worse yet its a third party that has absolutely 0 duty or obligation to you to protect your data.

2. You are now on a list of crypto users which can easily be gather by any government around the word. There is serious talk of governments making or even owning crypto illegal. If this happens in your state and you forgot you had some shitcoins on a random exchange you forgot about years ago, now you are a criminal.

3. Your information is easily available to tax agencies. What if your state tax agency decides that bitcoin fork last year you didn't even know about lead to a taxable realization you never claimed? They will fuck you over for fines or throw you in jail just because they can.

Cryptocurrencies are a technology that threatens to upend the entire established global monetary system, and you want to volunteer to register with a government list of known account holders? Good luck with that.

damn asian girls have the nicest skin

fuck you fagott. you use the world wide web, you live in a fucking basement with your parents. do you really think you are anonymous? wtf is the problem to show your ugly face to a hot chink chic with your webcam. probably uses instagram and fagbook too.

This is totally what happened with Windows 10 just five years ago, some privacy concerned userbase is going to get gradually fragmented and easier to define

That's not the point. Cryptos are used mostly for money laundering, which is the only source of real volume for this shit.

Kiss ood bye your volatility and moonshots

you are right but at the same time basic verification has been required for years, whether it's coinbase, bitstamp whatever, they all needed you passport/id scan at least, and I can make counter argument, if you buy your coins on local bitcoins or local ethereum whatever with no KYC then they may stop you from ever being able to cash out when you can't even prove the origin of the coins, it's a double edged sword

Kinda true

A few year ago coinbase approved my bank account in like 1 day

Been waiting a fucking week for another bank acct approval.
All normie onramps the same now.

Cunts.

Give me one serious reason why you feel the need to keep your identity hidding like some annoying freak. You are not special.

This is true. My friend had to wait 1.5 months for Kraken to verify his ID. When I did it around 3 years ago it was done instantly.

it's called make-up

seems to take longer when we pumping... just anecdotally from what people tell me...
i had 20K in a business account i decide to buy more BTC with it... when BTC was sub 8K, now it's gonna be 10K by the time I get that account approved. ffs...

I don't think it's anecdotal. When BTC pumps everyone wants to buy/sell and register on exchanges. They spend ages verifying shit and it's low-priority to them when they have whales trying to cash out and messaging support.

It destroys one crypto use case (freedom from government claws) but absolutely doesn’t destroy crypto. Most use cases have nothing to do with that. Decentralization doesn’t mean the government can’t control via regulation, but it does mean businesses get the data security they need and make a lot more money in the process.

Place your bets on shit like LINK where KYC will actually make you richer thanks to the US stepping in and ceasing all the disgusting manipulation of crypto markets currently happening by billion dollar whale pools.

For big fiat gateways, yes. Binance has never required KYC and has a fairly large withdraw limit of 2 BTC. But it doesn't have fiat withdrawals. You can KYC on coinbase, kraken, gemini, and deposit any random coins you want, there is no concept of the "origin" of the coins. When you withdraw fiat and try to buy a house or something, that's when they might care about the origin of the money. Even then, when I cashed out in jan '18 to buy a house the bank just told me to leave the money in my checking account for two months without touching it then they didn't give a fuck where it came from.

Exchanges don't need KYC to prevent money laundering. They track suspicious addresses and transactions to stop money laundering. The identity of the accounts involved are not going to be the actual fucking money launderers unless they're the stupidest money launderers in the world. This crack down on KYC is purely the governments attempt to get a handle the spread of cryptocurrency and to gather cryptocurrency user's identities.

why they wanna know who we are?

No. Quite the opposite. It will only kill pedophile networks.

see To fuck you you and maintain the global fiat monetary system. Governments fear cryptocurrencies because it removes their control over the monetary system. With the federal reserve for example, the US government would actually have to have a balanced budget, instead of just printing money to pay for everything they want to do. We are talking a system that generations trillions of dollars a year to finance various government programs and agencies.

So yes, one day they are going to crack down hard on crypto. Having a list of idiots that registered on their list will help them do it.

i dont wanna go back to being a wagecuck
anything i can do...

You should be wishing you were chink so you can put up any name and photo

Don't KYC obviously. Don't accept KYC as "standard practice." More people need to use the plethora of DEXs available and start driving up the liquidity. The less you rely on centralized exchanges the better so you don't have these IOUs for your coins that the exchanges can at any time withhold to extort you.

The burden of proof is on you bootlicking faggot, why does the government needs to file its citizens owning cryptos en masse?

real question is where can i find a korean waifu like that

Who's ashing for video chats? In the last week I've set up 4 accounts, all needing KYC, and it was nothing more than a couple pictures taken on my phone.

Stakenet DEX will solve your problems friend.

How to avoid undercover glow niggers tho?

Can anyone explain KYC to me? google tells me it's "know your customer"....but the context I see it used in on this board makes me think it's some kind of tech related to cryptos. thanks

It's the government increasingly probing your anus everytime you spend your own money.
