Hypothetically
CL as price tether for FB coin: $4
Another major partner (eg azure/oracle) announces integration: $6-12
Coinbase and norman fomo: $20-40
SWIFT integration for PSD2: three digits
DTCC/DAML traffic, BTC to 40k, announcement of a Chainlink enterprise coalition and legal precedent that decentralized oracles must be used to trigger smart contracts for them to be legally binding:
it's actually feasible
The thing I keep having a hard time wrapping my head around is this: permissionless decentralized networks tend to "moon" harder because they have no true overhead. Every moon we've seen has been off the backs of a network that has been built tech up while grabbing every headline possible.
Chainlink has been built customer focused and has intentionally not garnered retail interest. They essentially have a product that is every bit as important (you could argue more important) as ETH and have not shilled it at all.
And they're about to have the people with the most experience in shilling (msft, goog, intel, oracle etc.) start shilling at least its use, hard.
Who knows what that does? Sure as hell looking forward to finding out...

even if the next bullrun takes the whole market cap to 10 trillion (max was around 800 billion in Jan 2018), it is highly unlikely that chainlink will be at 1 trillion valuation. It's not impossible, but not nearly likely in the next two years.
>mfw have 80% in linkies but some realism doesn't hurt
