People are unable to be very scientific when it comes to valuing their own traits. Example: I can feel that I am unable to control my emotions, but in reality I might actually control them better than the average person.

Furthermore, they do not take in consideration the fact that we are an ever changing organism that uses input from the outside world to adapt all throughout our lives. I've mastered some of the problems I once thought were embedded in my genetics or background.

Of course the thing is not completely useless. I'm just saying that if studies show INTJ's are more successful, it might relate closer to the way a certain group of people approach questionnaire like this, how they view themselves and the world etc.

So it's probably slightly better than a horoscope.
