We should actually start doing that, people moan about a big military, but without it, all those countries with a minimal military would get invaded. In ww2 Germany was jacked and the other countries couldn't do shit, except britain because they were on an island.

Right. Partly why they're fucked. The U.S. isn't paying anymore for international defense, or to secure international trade, and there's an abrasive asshole from New York running the show. That's going to disrupt trade in a major way, which is going to fuck countries like Germany that are over extended in trade. Germany will have trouble feeding the people when nobody wants to buy BMWs and Bosche dishwashers in America because they're expensive as fuck, then you compound that with the cultural powder keg that's brewing with all the recent refugee immigration, and there's a nasty shit storm brewing. Austria, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands are fucked by extension.
