Did anyone else fall for the stem meme?

I’m an electrical engineer at my company that I’ve been at for almost two years now. I make a lot of money compared to my peers but I fucking hate life. I have nothing to look forward too yet all my friends and family say “wow, you really did good for yourself” when deep down I feel empty inside

Why didnt you follow your passion, a no?

desu, slog it a few years till you can be unemployed risk free and see if your passion gains traction. If it does, run with it, if it doesn't, you fall back on your 6 figures. If you don't find a passion, try again in a few years

>passion

Do what you want in life. Do you want to work forever so you have a nice car and expensive bullshit it would you rather make less money and do something more rewarding. It’s always that fucking simple

what the fuck are you complaining for then

Just save money and your free in 5 years

I have friends who dropped out of stem to pursue their theater careers and couldn't be happier. Stop being eagerly cynical. Drama wont find you.

Drama == darma

I'm a degenerate phoneposter

I hate that fucking word
I am clueless because I spent the last six years studying machines hearing how useful and lucrative it is. I don’t know what else I would do

I did. Stem jobs are fucking boring and gay. I'm getting my MBA next year so I can change careers.

That's why people are telling you to find your passion. Find something you enjoy spending your time on. You want to roll your eyes and act like a bitch about it but it's the truth.

Its so overused, passion. It’s a word spics use. I prefer calling it a calling. Passion is an emotion

I think I'm just going to be a high school teacher. At least I'll get a lot of vacation time.

what did you expect out of it, really?

if you're doing well for yourself count your blessing and if you hate your job try to find a way out into something that you think you might like more. pretty much everyone is in this situation too, you very rarely find someone whos doing something they actually enjoy.

a job wont "fulfill you" or make you feel complete inside. living a fun life where you're having social interaction with people that you dont hate, trying out new things you think might be fun regularly, taking care of your health so you can generally have energy throughout the day, and enjoying your free time working on hobbies or relaxing around the house will make you happy. not doing some fucking engineering job. of course that isn't going to make you happy it sounds boring as shit even on paper.

You have autism bro, that's your first problem

You have no goal.
You finished college with the goal of getting a well paying job and now you are there. Whats next is on (You) to figure out. Work is a means to an end. Find a hobby, dabble around in random stuff, continue learning on the side. Put the money to good use. You will eventually find something that you like enough to be passionate about, from which you could keep it on the side or if its lucrative enough make it your full time job.
You didn't fall for any memes, its not the field you chose. Youre just directionless.

My passion is learning history

i fucking loathe engineering and engineer students, they can't even fucking read, and they think they are genius meanwhile they don't know jack shit about the world (and that's why they are manipulated by anyone with a little of money)

fuck mechanical engineering, fuck physics, fuck society

Ok, buddy...go back to play civ.

Im an engineer you dumb fuck, that's why im throwing shit around, i hate my career, i have had more success and fulfillment flipping shitcoins than doing any fucking shit engineer related

Accumulate as many valuable assets as you possibly can, especially crypto and land with water rights, and retire in 10 years. You are lucky because you have the ability to min/max and have it actually matter in a reasonable amount of time. You're just a whiny bitch with no vision if you don't feel blessed.

Low IQ Pajeet can’t into fluid mechanics or thermodynamics

Software engineer here.

I love my job and I make 155k 3 years into my career.

Each work day is like I'm continually and perpetually nutting for 8 hours straight

kek

Says the brainlet engineer.

EVERY.
SINGLE.
EMPLOYEE.
IS.
A.
WAGESLAVE.

EVEN STEM, EVEN TRADES, EVEN DOCTORS, EVEN LAWYERS.

WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE WILL AAAAAAALWAYS BE HELL.

>implying there’s anything to be passionate about.
If everything’s going to be automated, what’s there to be passionate about. A computer can do whatever you want to do, but better.

Just do your job then follow your passion in your free time

this faggot will never be rich. once you have 10k saved, go all in on your scheme. the only way you can survive it is if your brain is working at full capacity not after getting JUICED by your slave owners
