Fact is, this company is already making good money. Now you tell me how many profitable companies the top 200, 100 or even 50 has that aren't complete scams. Especially ones that have such a widely applicable use case that you can literally explain to your mom.

Unfortunately something like idex can only really work with ethereum tokens (or a single similar platform, eg neo or stellar) at the moment because interchain stuff is not really where we're at with smart contracts. When you can easily get outside information like prices, wallet addresses etc. into smart contracts dexes with multiple chains will start to become a reality.
