Coinbase severely limits the assets that you are allowed to buy or sell. Most of those are scams anyway so it's not a big deal. The worst thing is they don't allow us to buy or trade using the USDC stablecoin. Idex requires a VPN, Bittrex and Poloniex will not let you make an account. Binance US will likely impose severe restrictions of NY residents. I couldn't participate in the FOAM token sale because they allowed every state except NY (this worked in my favor as I scooped up tens of thousands of them at 50% ICO price after the dump). This is all because of something called a Bitlicense which is technically required to facilitate crypto trading for NY residents. The whole thing is a huge scam and is imposed solely to prevent us from making it and to make sure (((they))) get their cut. Ripple hired the Bitlicense architect to their Board of Directors, and lo and behold they were able to get XRP listed on Coinbase in NY despite being 100% a scam.
