But seriously this whole idea of vidt is garbage and has been done numerous times before (and you can hash a file on the blockchain right now with something like Flotonizer). The token is unironically not needed and the team is a bunch of web developers who somehow managed to get good press, some reputable clients attached to their scam and they are paying tens of people to spam on Jow Forums via their "influencer" program (which encourages participating on offstream social media such as Jow Forums as per their guidelines). The whole thing is one big get rich quick scheme with a nice interface. Anything you hear about "locked" tokens is one big LARP as there is no such thing in the smart contract. In fact, the smart contract can explicitly only allow specific addresses to save file hashes meaning it's centralized as fuck and "GDPR compliant" means nothing because a checksum simply isn't any user data.
But yeah, keep buying this token guys. Fundamentals don't matter. Until they do and then this shit will go straight to zero because a competitor can do this 10x cheaper.
