tldr; Ethereum Classic is smart contracts with planned Oracle functions integrated
>Why do we have faith in Ethereum Classic?
Besides the upgrades coming in September in which it will be fully compatible with Ethereum and all of its upgrades. Ethereum Classic is planning to adopting oracle functions on top of its smart contract platform
>What about Chainlink?
Think about it, Ethereum Classic is the computer hardware and the command prompt. Most people struggle to use the command prompt.
Now imagine the oracle function of Ethereum Classic as a built in OS. Why do you think people use Microsoft Windows or Mac OS? It is built in.
Don't forget that Ethereum Classic also can create ERC-20 tokens like Ethereum. So image the Ethereum Classic oracle acting as an operating system for these ERC-20 tokens
>What is Ethereum Classic?
It is the original Ethereum blockchain that did not fork. Think of Ethereum Classic as BTC. Think of ETH as BCH
>Why Oracles for Ethereum Classic but not ETH?
ETH is going to proof of stake for its innovation. However, ETC wants to keep the original blockchain as much possible. By adopting oracles in its code, it can better accept correct information for its smart contract functions. Think of lightening network, but for smart contracts
>Why is there a transaction delay?
Because you are using Coinbase. Coinbase wants to have multiple confirmations so they can make sure there are not any non-ETC sent. To get instant deposits and transactions use another exchange

sub $10 may become a distant memory
Simply it is Ethereum with smart contracts and planned Oracle functions integrated
but thats normal ethereum
did you read my post? ETH is not planning to adopt oracles any time soon. They had already dismissed attempting to even solving the problem back in 2014 blog.ethereum.org
no i did not read it its too long

can tokens still run on eth after it changes
I believe it would require ETC tokens to run an Oracle for an ETH smart contract, but by that point you should just use ETC for both the oracle and smart contract role.

ETH highjacked the Ethereum name. However, Ethereum Classic still runs on the original Ethereum blockchain that can be traced back to the first tranaction
This faggot is trying to shill his irrelevant shitcoin again.
No, retard.
Just no.
0xbtc threads are more convincing than your drivel, mostly because the 0xbtc pajeets are so lazy and low IQ that they don't reek of desperation. Stop spamming biz, we know you'll run out of steam in like a week when you're trying to ride another pnd scheme.

Thanks, just bought 100k
HEY FUDDER!!!!
where is all of this coming from?
Bought before all you weebs started posting anime girls.
The planned oracle function of Ethereum Classic was leaked out by ETC's Director of Developer Relations
>Who the fuck is Yaz?
He is the Director of Developer Relations

do it, it's /ourturn
the only way is up baby...........
not gonna lie, when I started scooping up saturn classics last year, I was nosy and poked around who's buying...typical small eth wallets and then a 800,000 etc wallet.. wtf wtf wtf
My energy levels are rising
Imagine not buying the real ETH under $10
True, the real ETH is Ethereum Classic
Is some whale group going to pump this?
Who knows. We know one this is certain, Ethereum Classic is innovating at a far faster rate than ETH (Vitalik's coin) is
