>There are already blockchain solutions which do the same
Not on multiple chains. None of these are made for enterprises that may want to validate hundreds of documents every day. V-ID provides API's so you don't have to deal with shady websites where you manually have to make TX's. Plus they allow payment in fiat.
>Hurrr the token is not needed
The token is a vehicle for sending document data to the chain (filetype, fingerprint, timestamp etc). So yes, it is needed. Even when a company pays in flat, they are still using the token behind the curtains when they validate docs. Is both a credit system and a validation token.
>IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT SCAM
As a Dutchy myself I've checked the Dutch Chamber of Commerce for both V-ID and their parent company. I checked the office building in Zwijndrecht (15 min away from my house) that they share with an internet provider. I checked our LinkedIn profiles, the notary and arthouse that were involved with the Rembrandt validation. I even called them up and spoke to sales. Every fucking thing checked out.
Airbus and AmSpec are clients but if you want to believe some user who visited the V-ID website and concluded it's a PnD scam, then KEK to you.
