***token holders, binance wallet activity and whale accumulation***
Hello biz and fellow stinkies, how are you doing? Just a quick update with some observations.
There's been an increase of 8000 unique wallets in the last 4 days, which is 2000 per day. This has coincided with 43 million LINK leaving Binance over the last 3 weeks. Also, the LinkTrader subreddit just breached 10k subscribers today, after floating around 9000 for the last year iirc.
My last thread I noted that the number of LINK needed to be in the top 2000 wallets has increased from 17.5k to 19.7k since January. As of today that has increased to exactly 20k!
I thought I would be able to be part of the NWO but looks like I wont be in the top 2000 ever again... what about you, user?

Not had a proper look in a while but I can tell you from a quick glance that in March last year you needed 440,000 LINK to be in the top 100. Now, you need only 300,000 to be in the top 100 wallets.
This is the opposite situation with those of us around the top 2000, where to stay at your relative position, you’d need to buy more LINK.
If I’m thinking about this correctly, this means that some of the noted whale accumulation has been happening somewhere between wallets #100-#2000. As I say, there have been 2000 new wallets created per day over the last 4 days - we can reason based on the above that some of these new will be wallets holding between 300k and 20k LINK.
If anyone else has been keeping track of their relative positions I would be interested to know if you’re being pushed up or down
I've been keeping track of my position, I'm in the top 250. For a long time, in April may I had lived up by about 4 or 5 places, but when I checked the other day I'd gone back down by 5 so I guess people above me are accumulating more or its just getting increasingly crowded with more people owning more link but across more wallets

Thanks for the update. I have 260k divided between 2 wallets. I've gone up a little it leaves me at about 150. How do you think most people divide their wallets? Are there really only about 150 people with more LINK than me or is it maybe 300+ due to how people split their holdings?
I remember posting about total addresses being 34,000 last week when some newbies were thinking of selling. Of course the total number is shooting up. Interesting how many people are actually holding and accumulating more as we continue going up in price
Yeah, or people are finally moving their LINK off Binance, especially Amerifags because they won’t be able to Binance soon. Or perhaps the increased number of wallets are people preparing to stake, so are finally transferring to their own wallets...

So all I can reasonably conclude is that of the 8000 new wallets in the last 4 days, *some* of those contain between 300k-20k LINK. But I don’t know what proportion of those 8000 wallets that is. Would need more information on other anons relative position. Especially linklets with less than 20k - anyone out there with 15k or fewer LINK noticed their position moving up or down?

I never cared for my position, but having kept in mind what happened with the early Bitcoin whales and how some disappeared mysteriously, I've split my stack from the start into a non disclosed number of small holdings between 2xxx and 6xxx
You can keep clicking through the holders to find your position. Note it and then we can see how it changes in future

Yeah I remember checking it on etherscan with stack of around 15k and I was listed there ( so at least top 1000) but I cannot remember the spot I was on. It was around February 2018.

That must have been ages ago because I never saw 15k LINK equalling a position in the top 1000 since I started monitoring it.

Whenever you feel like it. It seems like there have been a lot of changes over the past week or so in terms of LINK stored on Binance, number of wallets and number of people on linktrader (which I think is a useful metric).
