(girl 2) I locked eyes with her, we kept staring at each other as we walked past each other. Her female friend was talking to her the whole time. Didn't register until after I passed her.
(girl 3) I took a look at her (she was alone) and then I looked straight ahead. Periphel vision suggested she was obviously looking at me. Yet I didn't bother turning to confirm and perhaps even saying something if she was.
