You either scam others, or get scammed. There is no Amway scenario that involves real business without a scam going on.
you have to go back
I've done Amway. It's not a scam. It's just an MLM company. You will be encouraged to sell directly to friends and family and bring people onboard "below" you to sell in your "team". Basically, its a waste of time. My guy who brought me on board used to host parties in his house to shill the products. It was far more trouble than what its worth and its based on an outdated model of business.
Its not a scam in the purest sense of the word but it might as well be. Their products are actually pretty good quality desu.
Are you 18? They literally only target kids fresh out of high school for this shit.
This.
>it's not a scam just an MLM scheme that asks you to target your friends and family, but yeah it's basically a scam
Are you retarded? Pic related.
Unironically a pyramid scheme
Tupperware parties have been a scam for decades and if anyone I knew tried to me rope into this shit I would actually stop talking to them.
They do not tell you that majority of the money is in the system. Not the products. The big guys make a huge majority of their money from the functions and selling things like books downline. The people who implemented this system within Amway had a huge fight about it. The products are a cover up for getting people to join and go to the big functions several times a year and buy the teaching materials.
All businesses are pyramid schemes bud. Amway is no different. Its a scam in the sense that the business model is ineffective and they just sell the dream, essentially, and you have to put up your own money to start the business. It's a waste of time. I know my team leader was pulling in some dough, not a whole lot, its just not worth it.
>All businesses are pyramid schemes
HOLY FUCK THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF Jow Forums
There is a book out there written by a couple who got into an Amway scheme. I don't remember what it's called, but it was free and the TLDR: your upline makes money from making you spend hundreds if not thousands a year on cds, services, and trips to useless conferences and gatherings.

This too. Its more about the business functions, when what we mean is that its about the shows, the live events, the books, the seminars etc. Thats what its really about. Selling the dream. So they get you to pay $200 to go to a live event to listen to someone speak and give you a pep talk.
It's a scam, and not all supply chains are pyramid schemes.
>ALL BUSINESSES ARE PYRAMID SCHEMES!?
Yep they are welcome to the real world buddy the people at the top make the most money, who knew right? herpa derp!
>but it's not a scam though
You really shouldn't be making fun of anyone's intellect considering you fell for the Amway scam and are still in complete denial about it
You clearly didnt read my post ya dumb nigger
Room temperature IQ cope
It is interesting how they explain it. It just seems like a typical business structure with having a boss or manager of a department.
Whew, you're a dummy.
It's a cult and a scam and I advise you stay far away from it my young zoomernigger
Mostly filled with indian scammers . and people who come on h4 visas, since they ar enot allowed to work, they shill this
I wonder why it takes a while for them to say their company's name and everything is so broad in explanation. It just sounds good like communism.
Even after falling for the Amway scam you still dont really know what a pyramid scheme is do ya buddy? An actual job doesn't rely on you being a customer and a "representative" to pull in others to work as 'representatives."

I remember wasting like a thousand bucks on that shit on 2013 that I could have invested in crypto and gotten 1000x more.
The problem with Amway is that the model is out of date, and that its really focused on 2 things
Selling the live events and the pep talks and they make you pay for it
Getting you to sign up your friends
It's *technically* not a scam - but it might as well be, and basically is, because the business just doesnt set you up to succeed. They DO give you a team leader and you are supposed to be mentored by him, but in reality, its just not effective because they dont give you any tools to work with.
They expect you to "network" with your friends and family. And throw parties and sell products to them. I did it for like a week in college and called it quits, lol. It was a waste of time.
Why buy Amway products to resell?
You can resell any product on Earth.
Think about this user.
Why does Amway advertise?
>Even after falling for the Amway scam you still dont really know what a pyramid scheme is do ya buddy? An actual job doesn't rely on you being a customer and a "representative" to pull in others to work as 'representatives."
A pyramid scheme funnels money to the top of the pyramid. Our entire society is a pyramid scheme. All businesses are pyramid schemes. Most people are just too dumb to realize this.
Amway is just really obvious about it. But dont go pretending to me that your little wagecuck job is "fair" and you're making more than your boss. You fucking dumbass.

What do you think of this post?
It is 100% a scam faggot fuck you for misleading this kid
I'm not misleading him I literally told him that its a waste of time you dummy. Like I said I did it in college for a week and then called it quits
im trying to avoid getting involved in something that ultimately will pull me into it something that i will regret. Im just trying to pave my future and trying to avoid easy money paths.
He's full of shit, Typical pitch they give of "I started at 19 and now at 25 I'm retired" its a load of trash they peddle. Like I said its practically a scam, stay away
Did you make or lose money off of it?
Yea it does sound cliche. There are so many strong voices that discourage any involvement. I am wondering how they are still in biz.
Last I checked businesses don't require you to get you as an employee to hire people to work under you so you can make money, don't even get me started on the idea of actually having to pay them to make money, imagine if your average desk job required you to pay for your office equipment.
I didnt pay for anything. I stopped before I had to pay, though. They wanted me to pay for some kind of small registration fee to become a supplier.
I'll say this; Its not *literally* a scam. Amway has a terrible reputation, but I tried their products. They actually make good quality products, and you do become a legitimate distributor and technically, a franchise owner.
The thing is this...its by the numbers. This is why I say its *practically* a scam because you are pretty much set up to fail and they exploit the people they sign up.
Its possible that YES< you could become a millionaire off of the business, but the energy that you put into the business, you might as well do it yourself.
Again I think that guy on Reddit is full of shit because i remember hearing that pitch before of becoming a millionaire and being retired by age 30, and kicking back and "doing nothing". It's....so scummy and unrealistic.
Its not required for you to get people under you. Its encouraged, but not required. Also, many sales jobs do require for you to pay for your own things, I'm talking 100% commission sales positions.
I do think Amway gets alot of bad flak, some earned, some not. People are kind of irrational about this. You are pretty much set up to fail with Amway. But you DO become a distributor. That is absolutely legit and my team leader did sell products at his parties. So I'm not gonna bash them just for the sake of it.
Is there other things you can do without selling stuff/recruiting?
Nope. You become a distributor. That's basically it. You are there to sell their products....
And that's the problem. How do you sell them? What do you do? The reality is that most likely, you won't sell them. You have no support except pep talks.
Daing. Thats not really interesting.
Absolute scam, but, goes to show how corrupt america is that this company hasnt been raided yet by fucking interpol.
