someone with real $ set an automatic buy-order as soon as it went under $10k. They don't believe it has much chance to sink lower than that, and see that as a safe buy price. The sharp down spikes at other benchmark numbers are similar clues. some big investors see a huge profit-taking opportunity at various high points, so they do a big sell. they could easily be the same people buying at sub-10k.
