Your entire argument is based upon the assumption that we have free will, which can't be proven or disproven, just like how if I were to say the universe is deterministic it can't be proven or disproven definitively. Personally if you knew all the variables affecting someone and how they would react to it, I would say that it's deterministic. Just like how as soon as you roll a die, the randomness comes from people not being able to calculate all the things that go into the roll which will influence it's outcome.
>Think of it like this (in a child way of thinking to make it simplistic): what if you don't use your powers to predict the outcome intentionally to filter the souls that can get access to your holy place. In the end, thats what lucifer is trying to prove: showing 'God' (whatever you wanna call it) that his new creatures are shit compared to him as most will crumble under their given powers (IQ).
But then what is the point of humanity in general then? Lucifer was cast out after humans were created, not before according to the Bible, so it's not like him and god decided to see who was right by creating humanity and seeing what they do.
This entire system where an omnipotent, all-knowing god creates beings that have the ability to see their surroundings and then make decisions off of them, influenced by their lineage and knowledge growing up as well, but at the same time leaves no evidence to give people a reasonable basis for believing that this god created them, and then expecting them to blindly follow based on the carrot-on-a-stick model of eternal life in heaven.
