I'm probably not going to be on 4ch much during the next 72 hours I assume (hope) that our posters will be out and about as everyone knows, summer holidays with fireworks are the perfect time to have fun with qt anime girls and make babies
while we're all out and about, the crypto autists (90% pajeets) will still be here posting away and bump us off the board with no mercy
>there are people who doubted that the S&P 500 would reach 3,000 >Spooz reached it today >there are people who were bearish in June after that calculated May move into [redacted] for another run up in the stock market Truth be told, I do expect a market crash worse than anything anyone has seen and predicted, but that will only occur when even the permabears capitulate and become bullish.
just strap it to the roof of your car for easy transportation.

Speaking of the working class, where's Gommie been? Shouldn't he be FUDding about the steepening curve?
That's pretty unimaginative. Profits are also the externalized costs of environmental degradation, consumption of resources, barriers to entry that reduce competition, monetization of providing convenience, etc.
I REALLY want to buy some precious metals, but I'm only probably 50k or so networth, and locking up that much of my resources in something as illiquid as metals seems foolish.
also, gold and crypto aren't standard investments. Gold is a hedge, and crypto is speculation.
Leo Scott
>I REALLY want to buy some precious metals
You could do a combination of gold and silver. I think silver is more likely to have a bull break in near term, whereas gold may drop a bit.
Luis Parker
My IRA portfolio is AMZN V JPM T VZ DIS should I keep this portfolio or switch to SPY?
Oliver Diaz
People have been saying that about silver forEVER... and then they say it's manipulated.
However there's always a demand for gold, because the central banks keep buying it. China and Russia need a fuckload more because of how banks work or something.
Lucas Reyes
SPY. Outside Amazon and maybe Verizon that is a dumpster fire of a portfolio.
Luke Perry
Does any wagecucks here in Jow Forums want to be financial independent and retire early? If so, why is Jow Forums mostly discussing about crypto instead of doing stocks or gold investment?
William Morgan
Because most of them are neets with no degrees, skills, or future and their only hope in life to get out of their parents basement is for chainlink to hit $1,000.
If you actually have a career you should be putting spare money in retirement accounts with a small crypto holding.
Cooper Bailey
The crypto folks are mostly in it in hopes of the moon shot. There's a also a small handful who in to the whole 'future of currency' thing.
I think both are valid approaches to crypto. The little bit I have in BTC is mostly me getting something in there in case of that moon shot.
I mean, transaction fees every time you buy or sell, those do add up... I might just start adding to an index fund instead of those. Sell any that you don't believe in I guess. Should probably sell T and/or VZ, for diversification.
I hope not to retire, but to find things I can tolerate doing even if I have to make less money once I gt to that point.
I feel you gotta be doing something otherwise you lose vitality and competence.
I'm in crypto so I can hopefully buy more MO-babies.
kek, even Visa? Damn. I will probably check out cashing into SPY/VOO/VFIAX on Friday. I figure this portfolio won't net much in the future compared to the emerging tech companies
Jaxon Barnes
I've made 250k in crypto off a 5k initial investment and bought back a solid chunk of them below 4k. Legacy boomer markets will never interest me because I'm smart enough to play in a market far more in it's infancy with enormous mispricing and a largely retail clientele instead of trying to outsmart the ultimate hedge fund chads and phD algos to eke out 5-10% a year in equities. Kill yoursef
Anthony Price
I have free trades because of portfolio size
I can see DIS at $180-190 in 2-3 years once Disney+ takes off
I'll have you know 10,000 gallon tanks of water are a very good investment thank you very much
Carter Hall
DON'T LISTEN TO THIS IDIOT
LONG T WILL LITERALLY BE ONE OF THE BEST TRADES OF THE YEAR.
Nolan Ross
I prefer Nokia & Samsung
I hear they are better positioned than most telecoms. And I'd imagine they're both pillars of their Nation's economies, so will probably get whatever QE or too big to fail type shit the Finns and South Koreans offer
David Cook
this is the kind of thing you hear people say when they're bad at caiptalism
git gud scrub
git gud
Samuel Green
Nice, hopefully this cocaine gets my portfolio more pumped than the shit I did in college did for me.
Joseph Robinson
That's a stupid question
Grayson Cook
okay :^(
Luis Taylor
no, we'll make it crypto won't pump forever
Isaiah Thompson
What are you raving on about? The only economy in the world that matters is the U.S. economy and it has never been in a better state.
Aaron Watson
Omg omg omg you guys need to cash out asap. It's fucking coming guys it's fucking coming
Easton Harris
Is that supposed to be Monica?
The 90's were so fucking Based.
Nicholas Wright
Yes. The gator is Al Gore.
Austin Bennett
Any consistent high yield dividend stocks that you guys recommend. I am involved in OXLC but want to branch out and expand my portfolio.
Ian Powell
VTSAX

>stagflation occurs >fed drops rates, killing the US dollar >fed raises rates, killing US through debt
Austin Mitchell
The key phrase is "great recession" user. We aren't going to see a 2008 again, or at least not in our lifetime. However, recessions in general will come and go.
Jackson Morales
>We aren't going to see a 2008 again, or at least not in our lifetime how old are you?? thats a pretty bold statement
Easton Collins
hopefully at the end of the year
according to most projections
Jaxon Cook
>according to most projections based on what?
Jack Hughes
It will happen
Thomas Davis
real estate for one
Lucas Ross
You think the real estate market will bring the rest of the world economy down again? this soon after the last time?
Camden Allen
>We aren't going to see a 2008 again, or at least not in our lifetime
The markets will absolutely drop that much and maybe more. Markets have a big plunge once every 15-20 years or so. However, the scenario of banks needing to be bailed out is a less likely repeat event in the next couple decades.
Adam Stewart
DSL. Gonna implode if corporate debt crisis happens though.
Brandon Martin
South Korea warned that they will revenge against Japan's export control
James Scott
We had a bad housing crash in 2008, but today the housing situation is not nearly what it was in 2006. Is it inflated? Yes. This is likely the peak of the cycle, we will have another recession and perhaps it'll happen in the next year or two. Maybe not. Even if we do have a recession, it's not unhealthy. It brings the market back down to pessimism so we can catch up to reality, and lets new investors earn money when everything is on sale.
Isaiah Bailey
agree with this 100%. as long as people keep saying "a crash is around the corner" it's not going to happen.
