I do not know anything about price reactions, but many will adopt Harmony nodes after Q2 phase.

Porting over doesn't mean being removed from the original Ethereum implementation brainlets. It means making it also compatible with Harmony. Basically, it will work on both. In other worlds:

Thomas spoke about how this could work - tokens would be interoperable between chains, sent to a lockup contract on one chain before being unlocked on another, making all this possible automatically without changing circulating supply.

Pretty sure chainlink is blockchain agnostic so will just make a one blockchain comparable version. Pretty bullish for both link and one if true.

That creates double effort, extra bugs and problems because one network needs different solution than the other. NO software developer with half a brain would do something in a critical phase like now. That would be a complete cowboy attitude, and the LINK team has been very cautious.

It will be trivially simple to implement a smartcontract that locks LINK tokens on the ERC chain and mints synthetic LINK on the ONE chain, and then burns the original LINK and unlocks the synthetic LINK.

LINK is such an industry standard competing blockchains are already rushing to implement it.

Not sure if you are bullshitting me, but if LINK was to interface with ONE chain, just minting synthetic LINK on that chain wouldn't cut it. LINK is not just a token, it's an ACTIVE middleware with servers, blow, and hookers. You have to interface it with the chain in question.
