>most native friends frequently asks to borrow money from me, or want me to take them out to spend money >if I refuse they respond with "damn man not cool, be cool please, you got so much money so help a friend out who weren't as lucky" >friends who weren't that close suddenly becomes very friendly
>all foreign friends still usually pay for my food and asks me to come over for drinks which they cover, as if nothing changed >"Congrats on your gains! I wish good fortune for you! Now, you wouldn't mind helping me with *certain physical labor*, would you? The drinks? Ah man, that's on me"
with references to luck and fortune, you are from?

Going to have to mention your country if you want this thread to take off.

no, Norwegian. literally only 2 Norwegian friends are like the foreign friends. The only thing these foreigners may ever ask of is if I can drive them around if possible, but my car is like $10k so it's not that big of a deal and would probably happen regardless if I bought a $2k shitwagon or not

My friends know I'll help them do labor just HMU. Roofing, Landscaping, moving shit IDK. Roofing a lake house in the summer heat and a finishing a case of beer is the best way to enjoy the gainz once its not about the money.
