buy a $110 september call for RCL

set sell limit at 120% price of premium

sit back and relax

Wasn't Dolly a fake?

Bill Clinton was based as fuck and the conservatives have been using his legacy to stir nonsense conspiracy theories.

HAVE SEX REPUBLICELS

kys boomer

we just trade memecoins here

>he isn't building up to 555 shares of GALT while day trading while the deal gets thought out

Tell why I shouldn't short AMD x5 right now.

Plus eighty percents and counting on my SPY. I owe you a beer for reminding me to get some cheapies. Hell even the GLD long is up eleven percents.

tell us why you should. It kinda seems like 30s might be a new normal like 20s are now.

you have 10 seconds to explain to me why you arent buying 2-6 deep in the money long calls on oversold blue chips and selling for profit once they get to the upper end of their sideways pattern

2-6 month*

are fireworks a good investment?

RAILGUN ERRORS

RCL
SNA

buy these deep in the money(breakeven below 2%), contract ending 2-6 months from now, cut losses regardless at 30 days and sell as soon as they peak their sideways movement

watch for lower end of sideways pattern to make same plays with:
PLNT
AMD
AAPL

Congrats, you're now up 1000% for the year

GIVE ME A STOCK TIP NOW I'M SICK OF LOSING ALL OF MY MONIES IN CRYPTO

see post above you

>implying cryptofags can into options

>PLNT
>AAPL
I love these and wish they'd give me an opportunity to enter.

>AMD
What's up with this? After Su revealed the new chips and that they're the only next gen videogame console chip, I thought they'd be on fire?

>options
no thanks, I like to own stocks.
I also don't trust the Greeks.

do you like my suggestion

pls validate me internet friend

>implying I can into options

Got some more AMD. Only good news from here on out.

Also got some GoPro. Bad idea?

What fucking cheapies? Where?

PLNT was cheap as fuck last week and I made profit on it, low 70s is buy point(remember deep in the money but low 70s is when you buy), mid 70s is sell point, high 70s is upper end of sideways movement this is when you watch it for when it gets back to the low 70s

AAPL is always rewarding with this strat, sub 200 is buy point, 202-204 is sell point, above that is the high end of the sideways movement

AMD is in its mid range right now of its sideways movement remember these are 2-6 month calls so youve got plenty of time and rate of decay is has barely an effect on you, my limit sell on AMD will trigger later today most likely, 27.5 call with 2 months left bought it this week when it dipped below 30(the lower end of the sideways movement)

It's kinda late now, user. But at 10:40am they were all over the place.

Spy just dipped a little bit, there's a cheapie right there for you.

Not saying I disagree, but then what's the point of trying by yourself or learning any of this? Of course the chance of finding an edge or beating the indices is slim, so why don't we all just dump money in index funds and spend more time playing video games and shitposting?

Attached: CYCRNPf.jpg (251x189, 10K)

gopro is a lame duck and AMD will continue sideways movement for weeks to come

creating a program would be nice if you are bad at sticking to your own rules, but you will sacrifice the abstract genius(the only way to truly beat AI at this time)

do it yourself and then post your 1000% returns and you'll get all the online validation you could want

You've got to put in the hard work that other's don't so you can profit off of the price action. That's why 99% of people can't beat the indexes, they're not putting in the work the 1% do.

It'll dip some more.

Makes sense, thenk u frens

i am but im only 3 successful trades in(3 out of 3) for this method but my robinhood looks rough besides that because i always impulse buy short calls on overbought shit because i hate cash just sitting in my account

if you have any concerns about the strategy ive provided please raise these concerns so i can consider other points of view thanks

I'm neutral on your strategy because I avoid the technology sector (biotech is part of the healthcare sector, not the technology sector) as a general rule and haven't done any DD on the stocks you're mentioning

Attached: HURRRR.png (1103x327, 39K)

now is literally the time to buy RCL with the DITMLCSMM

(deep in the money long call sideways movement method)

sell between 118-121

Assuming you meant to reply to

>Slept in on Non-farm payroll day
Such a noob mistake...

The guy you're talking to is all-in on one stock and has never traded options. Don't take him seriously.

You're a little bitch who can't admit when he's wrong.

I'll buy your shitcoin when it dips back to $3.20 though.

remember kids
-minimum 2 months
-maximum 6 months
-determine the top and bottom of sideways movement
-buy the lowest breakeven % which will be pretty deep in the money
-understand the world around you
-always sell with 30 days remaining so the rate of decay jews dont get you

I have 130 stocks on my watchlist and I have a photographic memory I constantly know when stocks are at the tops and bottoms of their trends

Yep, him

>+9.77% on no news
Jesus fuck... I want to trim but I'm still $0.03 below basis.

Attached: JumpMan.jpg (1018x1074, 146K)

Ideally you would apply my strategy to the top 1-3 performers in each sector on the market

Is Apple (aapl) even worth it? It’s 204.32 and it pays a $0.77 dividend per share. I know it’s solid because hipsters won’t stop buying their shit but it seems like an inefficient stock to buy and hold when there are higher dividends coming from companies that are just as solid.

I’m talking about holding for retirement.

Here it comes

Attached: 4L_o069w223.jpg (200x215, 12K)

If you want to hold for retirement, just stick with index funds

>-understand the world around you
nice
this is the KEY to chad investing

>all that other math and chart mumbo jumbo
useless nerd shit

just buy a mutual fund :)

Attached: Ama_Dablam2.jpg (1600x1063, 166K)

Indeed.

One thing holds true for Apple, regardless of how fucking silly their product is, regardless of how expensive, their company thrives in spite of everything, they have principles and they stick to them and they have a niche within their own industry because of it, you can simultaneously hate this company and also realize that they will continue to succeed eapecially as things that privacy disparities continue to grow, as well as social trends in emerging markets(gooks and wanting to be fancy)

when it comes to buying stocks and holding them, AAPL is a good buy for the forseeable future, the only thing that would make me say otherwise is if it was currently $250

>holding for retirement
I sold AAPL here before, and learned my lesson.

AAPL is a solid own, but this entry point seems a little wild. However, only 17 P/E ratio for a tech company with such a dedicated following and competent management? That doesn't sound so bad.

I'm still waiting for a better entry point though.

But buying a low-expense ratio index fund really is the thing to do for "retirement"

204 isnt the right spot for swing trading, in terms of a 5-10 year hold its fine

I started buying Disney around 90, I want to continue buying more but it's impossible to cost average down. Should I just keep accumulating no matter the price?

>everything's going up
>everything's good
>only concern is we'll have to wait a couple of months for a rate cut
>muh yield curve - forgotten

I'd still wait for a pullback, but we may not get one if China bends the knee.

AWWW YEAH!!!!! +100% on my cheapie.

Attached: 12341234.jpg (782x672, 53K)

imagine if a company came out with even more childlike phones and computers than apple? like, a toy a toddler would use, but its got great tech and is marketed towards the starbucks vaping worldwide community

thats apple's only threat and theyd buy any company that tried that before anyone ever heard of them

Good job

don't fall into this trap

based

yes id agree with that, but wouldnt count on a pullback, thats why i have lots of stocks I pay attention to, keeps me from feeling pressured and then buying at the wrong time --either it gets to my price point or it doesnt too bad so sad

But Nokia exists user

The trap of making money?

i meant like this but a smartphone with competitive tech

nokia is a totally different niche

Attached: d0de5b33-87e1-47d3-a140-cf7beba02327_1.2eb82c6c29cb720ad52c4eff6548bfef.jpg (450x450, 30K)

So VTech?

why cant mining companies do good

what a nightmare I feel sorry for anybody that invests into the likes of those

just gonna buy a little fedex

theyve only lost like 5-6 billion from TNT and the stock sold as if they did a 20 billion bond sale or something, not seeing any effect to margins on the balance sheet, unless theyre using some kind of trickery

the problem is, why did they stagnate their shitty dividend last month? when theyve already increased buybacks at twice the speed of last year

Attached: wham.jpg (400x300, 20K)

if they came out with equally performing software as apple and android, apple would sink 10%

but this absolutely isnt the case

I know I shouldn't have any emotional attachment, but I miss having Tim's steady hand in my portfolio.

And it feels good marking profits in Nintendo.

I've also grown quite attached to Merck, stuck that in my retirement account and probably won't touch it except to add to it, unless the next CEO seems incompetent.

Oh come on, macs aren't THAT bad. And you can always enable developer tools if you want to customize and make fun stuff.

Building a hackintosh was a fun experience.

>GMO
>Kirkland Lake

B&R

I doubled down on my SPY $300 7/12 calls this morning and now right back in the green

UPS is good below 98 watch for that

Is it a full market day today?

im not saying theyre bad, im saying a more childlike product would take away some of their market

yeah
you can look up the NYSE schedule on the internet as well using a search tool such as AltaVista or Lycos

Take profit.

The absolute state of tripfags in this board, jesus

yeah thats one of my favorite stocks, sold for 104 and hoping to re enter as soon as under 100

Good man.

thanks

the site I glanced at only had that it was closed on the 4th.. thought it easier just to ask here.. There are some things I would prefer to look up myself and other things are easier to just ask people that already know.

AMD releases their Ryzen chips this weekend (7/7 to be specific). So watch out for any news regarding it.

I wonder if I should short today. While good, I don't think it can live up the hype generated around it. Linked, because it's too big for Jow Forums:

imgur.com/a/YkoOCgM#Els9aDX

An rcl call for September with a break even near 2 percent is over 1000 dollars. Wish I could afford this strategy but it's too much per contract

Yes it's expensive because it will work. For me, I stopped trading until I could afford to use this method(DITMLCSMM)

Shit, it looks bullish as fuck to me. Considering a leveraged long over the wekend.

Is it viable to buy mutual funds and individual stocks if you don't put down a lot of money every month? I like the idea of individual stock dividends but always worry about fund fees (but fidelity seems to have amazing rates)

i saw a poster here say that AMD historically does poorly when new products are released but I havent a clue if thats true or not

>Only good news from here on out.
>he's never heard of sell the news

kek, its like its your first ride on the AMD train

Attached: AMD 54 EOY 2018.png (892x813, 81K)

Check for yourself:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryzen

Checked April 19th, 2018, but it lifted off a few days after.

September 11th 2018 was different - it peaked the next day, before getting the second peak a few days later, then it was all downhill from there. I'm too lazy to check on the Ryzen 1000 releases for now.

is xavier still a discord i left that shit like a year ago and am just getting back into this

Just looked at the charts vs release dates for 2018 processors, doesn't look like it desu. But I sold AMD at 31 and don't want to buy back higher than that.

well so far the info weve got is 3000 is a killin machine

so that hype will probably work against it

31 is too high to buy back until a new normal is established

If only we had a way to benefit from price swings even when we do not know which direction they will be :^)

Me wait for $5 to rebuy GPRO
It in weird place atm
Could see it retesting $4 again

I too am a fan of our avian overlords

OH NO NO NO NO NO

ALB forever scar me :(
Think mining stocks are just too much globally risk for people atm

I can't, I used all my day trades. With the trading Holiday ((they)) are going to fucking make me wait 8 days instead of 7 to get them back too.

daily reminder if you arent long on at least one water stock you're a fucking retard

Fact: We aint makin no mo' water nigga

Doe back at 26.9k, wew lads
