Everyone just stopped giving a shit. We've realised we're going to be multimillionaires, and the only thing that can stop it is if we sell our link.
I'm actually moderately depressed since all this happened and this board makes me feel dead now. It was exciting when there was a chance we were wrong, when we were gossiping about the possibility of something as big as Microsoft. Then literally Google and Oracle in the most bullish announcements for any cryptocurrency ever just completely confirmed everything and there's no excitement in it any more.
We're just waiting now. It's inevitable, and we're kind of in denial. It's real and it's happening, but for some reason food doesn't taste as good any more, the air doesn't smell quite as fresh. What am I supposed to do with this much money? What in the hell am I going to do with even more money next year, tens of millions after that? Am I supposed to just.. Buy everything I've ever wanted? Travel?
I'm sort of starting to realise that what I wanted was the chase, and now it's completely gone. There's not even any excitement about any other crypto projects because this one is it.
I've been out of vidya for about 7 years, I'm hoping maybe I can chase a bit of enjoyment there. Maybe I could fix up my car a bit. I just don't know.

It's a very different vibe here now, that's for sure. I've been all in since 2017 and it's genuinely shocking to see people posting about accumulating 1K stacks now. Sometimes I do a double take and realize that shit, it's actually a lot of money to get a 10K stack now. A stack that was pretty damn average at best over a year ago. I know most of the original LINK marines have been quiet for a while now, but I know you're all still here lurking in the shadows.
I genuinely do believe that the frens we made along the way is truly the most priceless part of this entire journey. Remember those autists trying to triangulate Jonathan Levi's position when he stayed at that San Francisco hotel and maybe he met up with Serg? Remember when Chainlink's office address was updated to 50 California Street? Those are all things that nulinkers will have zero clue about. But we've been on this wild journey that has been full of emotions, but it's all mostly been positive.
Signing out with my cheesy post. For me, I'm going to try remain as humble as I can with the wealth I get from LINK. I want to live a peaceful life and while material possessions will certainly be nice, it's the ability to have true freedom and peace that will allow me to live my happiest life, I think. We shall see.

You realize that none of the "partners" so far are using Chainlink right? It's all marketing for their own cloud platforms.
I have no doubt MS will write a blog post about Chainlink too, and it will bump the price a bit.
But MS will not use Chainlink, just like Google and Oracle won't either. I know you retards see the fancy graphs and think they're already using it. But that's not what the graph means, any dev knows that.
Eventually the fake partnerships will run out of steam, or people just won't believe them anymore, and that's when the price will slowly go back to 0.10.
For Chainlink to go to 100 or 1000, it would need real, worldwide adoption, and the software they created is pretty much useless for developers, so it certainly will not get any real adoption.

I've looked at the Chainlink code and documentation, it's not decentralized. It's not useful. No one would ever use it. Not MS, not google, not oracle, not some guy in his basement.
That's why all you see from Oracle and Google and just marketing articles promoting their own cloud services. And guess what, it's working amazingly. Both Google and Oracle got tons of press from it.
But they'll certainely never use Chainlink. They'll just sell their cloud services to linkies. They literally release hundreds of articles and talks per year to sell their services. To them it was a success.
