Tell me why does this Ponzi scheme still exist? It's been 10 years, 4 times it were dying but still. It has no intrinsic value, literally nobody big uses it, not even drug markets. The only purpose of these coins is to buy low sell high. Why won't it die?

one or more of your assumptions are wrong, re-evaluate

Which one?

I literally made 300k out of it last year jan.

It's a decentralized Ponzi scheme. With no central organization, it makes it invulnerable to laws directed against such schemes. As long as people keep believing in it, it will repeat the bull/bear cycle indefinitely. Satoshi is a genius.

Its just something for people to gamble on, if you think in your head GAMBLING every time you read cryptocurrency then it makes alot more sense. We may as well be gambling on pokemon cards, rocks etc.Just so happens its something called cryptocurrency.Gambling is as old as time.

>It's been 10 years, 4 times it were dying but still. It has no intrinsic value, literally nobody big uses it, not even drug markets. The only purpose of these coins is to buy low sell high
*super nervous voice*

>ponzi
>dying
>no instrinsic value
>The only purpose of these coins is to buy low sell high
BTC REPLACES CENTRAL BANKS POWER TO INFLATE MONEY VALUE YOU FUCKING FAGGOT.
THAT'S ALL FED AND ECB CARES ABOUT.
YOU REMOVE THEIR POWER, YOU MAKE THEM USELESS.
10 years and still you did not get it?

It's a new technology that's just being adopted.

False. Gambling you don’t hold an underlying asset there’s nothing left if you lose, and the house has a statistical advantage. None of that relates to crypto unless you spend it that way (like you can gamble away anything technically)

>Its just something for people to gamble on
NONONONONO, HOW PEOPLE CAN BE SO MONGOLOID?
who has the highest chance to survive?
euro or btc?

>can't prove these transactions are not made by bots
Nice avatar pic.

that any of those reasons should make it die

Lets be honest, most alt coins will go to zero or near, and people always hodl thinking it will reverse til the coin is worthless.I stand by my point its gambling.

>house has a statistical advantage
80% of the BTC supply is owned by a few whales. They are the "house" and can manipulate the market at will. There's nothing left if the whales decide to exit the market completely.

>Hmm my observations don't support my thesis.
>Is my thesis wrong?
>No, it's the crypto users that are wrong!

take your meds and go to bed grandpa

Quit being a bitch and just buy a coin dude. At this point any investment portfolio that doesn't include a percentage of Bitcoin is financially irresponsible. Your weak fud is no excuse, you need to expose yourself to crypto risk reward.

>literally has zero proof
I wonder why your family has been poor for generations?

>no specific answer
Guess you're just frustrated your precious scam money is gonna die soon.

bitcoin is the only true crypto
shitcoins like sv need not apply

Attached: shitcoins-shitcoins-everywhere.gif (300x224, 1.13M)

it's really retarded to call an asset a ponzi user
don't be a retard! ponzi is a confidence scam.

>le poor may may

Nice try, kid, but your reverse psychology shilling won't work on me.

its a ponzi and a gamble....thats why it's not dead.

answer given, thread can be closed. thanks

This is a perfect specimen of what a normie's brain at the start of a FOMO cycle looks like.
BSV is the best form of bitcoin among the big three. Deal with it.

>It has no intrinsic value

It has historical value.
Ancient coins go for a lot of money.

Owning the first cryptocurrency in history will be worth more and more as time passes. Its value only increases with time.

>80% of the BTC supply is owned by a few whales
Meh. Let's say 8% and it's enough to manipulate the whole market. Bullshit money.

the denial is magnificent but cognitive dissonance is a bitch

Did Warren Buffet invest in this useless shit? No? And you think you're better than him right?

The ratio is even worse for fiat, what's your point?

>gets government to bailout all his companies
"greatest investor ever"

warren buffet got rich by making the safest bets ever in shit like insurance and by his own admission missed many opportunities in tech because he's got an old fashioned mindset

>BSV is the best form of bitcoin among the big three.
1 by definition it's not bitcoin but an altcoin that got utxo airdropped on bch which got utxo airdropped on btc.
2 it's not in any way or form best of anyting.
3 the idea of storing weather data and other irrelevant shit like chatlogs and porn on blockchain is retarded.

>>gets government to do something for you
This is called power.

>fraud and lying are virtues
hi rabbi, whatcha doin?

Most of the money isn't in fiat, but in various assets. The circulating supply of USD is large enough that it's less vulnerable to manipulation. There are also numerous laws against price manipulation. On the other hand, BTC can easily be manipulated to due to the low circulating supply. The reason the circulating supply is low is because there's no reason to use BTC except for gambling and doing illegal activities.

>>BTC REPLACES CENTRAL BANKS POWER TO INFLATE MONEY VALUE YOU FUCKING FAGGOT.
>THAT'S ALL FED AND ECB CARES ABOUT.
>YOU REMOVE THEIR POWER, YOU MAKE THEM USELESS.
>10 years and still you did not get it?

isn't BTC far more inflationary than the dollar for the next 100 years?

wow...
2020 is going to surprise lots of tards.

Imagine being as retarded as OP. Just imagine.

That isn't an answer to my question, which has an objective mathematical answer.

I mean I do agree with you about BTC being the future, but you can't just use denial as a defense mechanism when people ask legitimate questions with objective answers.

Bitcoin rises exponentially because fiat is rapidly becoming worthless, bitcoin doesn't rise in value, fiat is just becoming worthless in comparison

2020=(6.25*6*24*365)/19000000=1.7%
2024=(3.12*6*24*365)/19000000=0.8%

I guess I learned that factoid in 2013 and never updated it with all the halvenings

what drug markets are you on loser its usd everywhere . it does more daily volume than fucking visa

God you sound like a faggot

That isn't true at all yet, that would imply that fiat has lost half it's value since January 2019

It might be true in ten years

It's a Store of Value
It's a Currency
It's a Bank
Soon it'll be an Exchange too

either you forgot a comma or you're acknowledging my divinity

>isn't BTC far more inflationary than the dollar for the next 100 years?
inflation is relative the actual money supply can be the smallest component, the velocity of money and demand are actually more important in determining price changes (what we call inflation). if you get new btc at a lower rate as demand grows it will behave deflationary. not to mention it gets more expensive to get new btc as time goes on.

The real economic work around this is using stock-to-flow modelling. (Amount new supply vs existing stock).
Currently BTC S2F ratio is 28:1 (that is stock is 28x larger than new flow)
Gold is currently about 58:1
After 2020 halving BTC gets SF ratio of 56:1 (matches gold)
After 2024 we are in uncharted territory as BTC's stock-to-flow will go higher than any other recorded asset.
By 2032 we are talking about S2F ratio of 224:1 (probably higher because of lost coins).

Thank you for the very thorough answer.

>not even drug markets
$1 Billion was transacted on the dark net in the first half of this year

you didn't explain your chain of reasoning yet, i can't explain what's wrong with it until you tell us why you think those factors should matter

>BTC
>inflationary
twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1138427450927529984
don't tell us you did not see it coming...

I've been holding bitcoin since 2011 and my coins are on the BSV chain, which starts with the genesis block and uses SHA256 mining. That makes it bitcoin in my book.
Let me guess, you're one of those retarded core maximalists that thinks a chain with an artificially imposed blocksize limit and culture of social media-based governance is the best. If that's the case, enjoy poverty.

Attached: smugtommy.jpg (322x294, 22K)

bsv will win, i think the same. tremendous

so you hold on both btc and bsv chains?

good joke sv was never bitcoin and never will be.

your shitcoin is going to implode faggot poo shill

Current BTC inflation rate is around 3.8% which is higher than the nominal USD inflation rate. However that rate is severely underestimated and should be ~5-10%. BTC inflation rate in May 2020 will cut in half to about 1.4% which is less than the FED target rate. In 2024 it cut in half again to 0.7%, and half again every 4 years.

>culture of social media-based governance
as opposed to the governance model of sv? where calvin sits on 3 times the total hashpower of the entire chain not that anyone can use anything nchain didn't approve... oh boy sv looks ugly no matter what light you try on it.

>Plaintiff's forensics expert has extracted embedded font metadata from the PDF. It shows an embedded copy of the "Calibri" font, with a copyright notice dated 2015. (The document claims to have been created and signed in 2012.)

>Wright claims that he has invented a hierarchical encryption scheme
ahahahahah this is just oh god! i'm dying here.

Lol he doesn't respond to this. Truly a Jew.

Ahem. 0xBitcoin is the best.

that stupid image again that seem to mean nothing. explain to me what im looking at. do you even know what that image is supposed to mean?

lmao
you're defeating your own argument
who the fuck cares if it's a person or AI?
>I'm gonna stick to the FIAT scam, cause there's no AI operating it
you are literally a low IQ inbred retard

You can gamble with BTC on betting sites. It works great.

it means that the archives picked up craigs supposed blogpost from supposedly 2009 in 2014 first while an other post actually posted in 2011 was picked up next day...
he edited and backdated his blog trying to make it look like he was involved in bitcoin he did this in 2014. fortunately web archives got it all documented.

what you're saying is that craig posted something 2009 and it got archived in 2014. so? archive.today don't crawl the web, you have to manually archive web pages. nobody archived that page until 2014, doesn't mean it wasn't written in 2009.

Attached: dvd rewinder.jpg (350x432, 19K)

>what you're saying is that craig posted something 2009 and it got archived in 2014. so?
that shit never happened to any of his other blogposts. everything actually posted back then got crawled the next day. just not the ones where he is involved in bitcoin... heh are you fucking kidding me?

archive.today doesn't crawl websites, people need to post URLs and archive stuff manually. sure it's weird that 2011 blog post was archived in 2011 but it still doesn't actually prove that the 2009 blog post wasn't already in existence in 2009.

the image isn't proof of anything, at most it shows something weird. and the image should really have text explaining what the hell people are supposed to take away from it, most will just look at it, see those red circles, don't get it and close it.

Attached: perspective.jpg (3264x3264, 675K)

the blog was if you take a look actually picked up by web.archive.org

well you're not making your case with links, are you? the image is what we are discussing, how stupid that image is. near worthless, even.

Attached: destruction.jpg (624x391, 100K)

Eventually a crypto flaw will be discovered and it will die a permanent death.

are you dropped on your head? find the blogs in question on the previous saves!
web.archive.org/web/20091120191009/http://gse-compliance.blogspot.com:80/2009/02/reasons-why-people-break-copyright.html
web.archive.org/web/20120316093712/http://gse-compliance.blogspot.com/

the main point of the "stupid image" is the "no previous version" part... when the site was archived fully multiple times till 2014 them mysteriously appearing suddenly will not raise an eyebrow only if you are a total brainlet.
