I've been working on this project for awhile, but I finally have it in a presentable state. I've made a minecraft server with server ranks based on how much LINK you have. Right now the ranks do nothing (except show up next to your name in chat), but you can sign up for them at the link below. Please try it out and shill it as much as you can around here. It's an anarchy survival server for now, but I have plans to add a few perks for high level link marines.

I lowered the requirements because link is so expensive now. I can always change them later if we have too many high ranking individuals, but I doubt very many people have more than a 10k stack.

Every high ranking officer and their army can stake a certain amount of link against another high ranking officer's army. Linklets are assigned randomly to both parties.
Once the high ranked marine is killed on one side, distribute the link staked between the winner army in a proportional manner.

Great idea! How about: Officers must stake a minimum amount of link. If an officer is killed, the killer’s team gets their link. Officers can also stake additional link as a bounty to kill another officer. This creates a financial arms race of getting the heat off you by making another target more attractive, and can be used strategically to, say, establish a common interest in killing one group for financial benefit while making their ally vulnerable to attack, for example

On cracked servers people can log into your account just by using your name. Theres ways around this, but theres also other problems with it that would make it hard to deal with.
