How much have you actually made from crypto? Be honest.
How much have you actually made from crypto? Be honest
About -$1000 without taking into account tax
potfolio 500k, cashed out 5k to buy a car once, lots of harvestable losses from 2018 though so not paying taxes on anything for a while
lost about half a million
by 2018 I mean EOY 2017 / jan 2018
From buying in about 20k.
From peak down like 90k.
Never made anything, lost 500$ in 2017 and 5,000$ in 2018. this is my last try
Before anyone asks, COSS. Rode from 3 cents to $3.00. Its 3 cents again so I’m just gonna do the exact same thing again
+$5k in 2017
-$20k in 2018
+$8k as of Today
I'm going to cash out some of it. I have half my net worth in crypto, and it's taken a toll on my mental health. I think I'll take my meager gains. Might not be making it, but at least I won't be JUST'd.
-20k in unrealized loss
-$40 and I'm not very happy about it
Started with 2k in 2017
Reached a peak of 17k, mostly through the LINK ico and some other alts
Bought a nice laptop at the top, paid for a vacation for gf and I, ordered expensive food and bought lots of weed all through 2018 while not having a job and holding btc all the way down
Currently have $400 dollars left.
I regret my actions pretty immensely. I at least could have cashed more out instead of watching btc grind down for a whole year. I won't make the same mistake again.
I invested $120k in August-September 17 Coinbase Limits was a pain in the dick so I used local btc for 80% of after China ban crash.
BTC was $3600. I kept 10 and dumped the rest into alts and ICO’s . I wanted to die when btc was pumping And my alts was dead. I cashed out btc to CB @ $18k to cover my investment and $60k profit.
I had no bitcoin but I had a stack of get lucky coins that all got lucky.
NEO at $6 sold at $80
Vechain at $0.30 sold at $7.28
Dragonchain ICO was $0.05 I sold at $4.85.
ETN ICO was $100 got you 17000.
I sold at $0.12
I held btc til July 18. I then market bought LINK .
I hold a wallet on the 1st page.
I cashed out $60k profit paid $20k tax net $40k
Future billionaire by 2025
Yuri sure let himself go. What happened to him?
so far i only lost money
I got into crypto back in 2015 before the big bitcoin pump. Did my own research, was completely and utterly convinced that blockchain/crypto would become a huge market.
I was right, but I actually lost money gambling on retarded shitcoins. Its funny to think how much I would have made by literally just holding btc/eth for a few years and never going on biz.
Feels bad mostly because literally everyone around me was getting loaded and I kept making the same mistakes
Things will be better this time... they have to be
-2k but I haven't sold yet
I'm down like $5000 and I want to die
a little under half a million
yeah I actually listened to the sntvt shills early.
$80 but I started in May
Are you me? I-I can't take it anymore. Why can't I just be right about one fucking coin?
bought january 2011, sold december 2017
I just like to larp
Cashed out 60k usd total. Have 20k left that I wont cash out before it's worth another 60k
i lost around 1000 dollars. i started during the bubble then sold everything. now i invested around 5000 a month ago. now all my earning vanished so im still at like a 1000 dollar lost
8k not a fortune but I’m happy
About 10k so far. I'm hoping for at least 4 million when it's all said and done.
To be honest, looking back, I was literally just an emotional investor. Dont know why but things feel a lot more clear these days.
To be more clear. I wasnt actually "wrong" about every coin. I got quite a few good predictions... in theory. Problem was, almost EVERY time, Id fuck it up by getting greedy, then getting mad when things didnt play out perfectly, bag hold while crying, sell at the bottom for a new shitcoin, repeat.
I spent too much time on biz as well. I knew all along that you need to do more research than browse Jow Forums, but I still fell for every trick in the book.
I never bought anything. Just collected free shit from coinbase.
About 70k Imperial Freedumbux pure profit after tax if I cashed out right now. But why would I do that?
i put 1eth into VID about 3 weeks ago and sold about 10% of my stack last night on fork delta for about 3.5 eth
so im technically up 4.4 eth
Can't imagine actually losing money in crypto
I'm up like 5 grand
Wish I just took my 10k when link peaked portfolio only worth 7 now
45k euro's cashed out.
Started with 3k. Did a x10 with WTC, made a x16 with Elixir and recently x7 with VIDT.
Sadly I also bled a lot during 2018 because I fell for the hodl meme. Also Jibrel happened.
Cashed out around 15k, still have the 5k I invested. Being jobless is fucking me up..
invested 700€ in mid 2017, end of 2017 I had 12k€, took out initial investment + 2k, today its only 2600€
exactly 0 started 15k Jan last year about 15k today... balding tho...
Sounds like you learned an important lesson, and hey, minor price to pay for tranquility.
is there a longer version of the video which you can link ? Because her other videos on pornhub are not that great.
Can you tell how much did you invest in each coins and in which coin specfically did you invest in ?
>sold off my tf2 inventory for about $500 in btc
>peaked at 120k in 2017
>bottomed at 25k during the bear
>hanging around 90k currently
>have only cashed out about 3k for random shit along the way
About 60k so far
All my money is from mining, so $0
>$3,000 profit since april 2017
mostly from antshares rebranding to NEO
could have made $20,000 easily if I would have held onto bitcoin and didnt touch it.
yes, i'm disappointed.
110k €. Was way more but I lost it in the bearmarket.
Turned 200€ into 1500€
Which I wasn't a poorfag for a more solid initial investment
you will never know, and assuming there is honesty in any post is being a statistical charlatan
Been in crypto a little over a month put in $1200 portfolio is currently at $3100
50% on initial
40 bucks. I was going to purchase something from a website but I never fell through with it. my $27 btc topped out at $62 bucks yesterday!!!! pretty rad this whole investing thing.
>Before anyone asks, COSS. Rode from 3 cents to $3.00. Its 3 cents again so I’m just gonna do the exact same thing again
Very nice work. But, you realise old shit doesn't pump again, right? I have barely heard of coss but if its value is down to 1/100th of its peak then I assume it was a 17/18 bubble coin.
Move on, buddy. If you cashed out (when, roughly? What date?) then excellent work. Ride something new up.
>I have half my net worth in crypto, and it's taken a toll on my mental health
I have suffered extreme mental health problems from crypto. For me, it wasn't the amount of risk I was taking, it was the chart-gazing, the forums, the fomo and panic trading, etc etc. I now have more than 90% of my entire net worth in one altcoin alone and I could not be comfier or calmer about the whole thing.
It's the short-timescale trading and flipping and indecision that fucks your brain up. Even if you cashed out completely, you would likely still panic when BTC does 10x in a few years.
minus 20k EUR in total with mining.
In it since 2014, total "invest" 40k EUR.
For me it has been a total waste of time to be fair. You either have "luck" or "the golden touch" or you just get fucked like me. I have had like the unluckiest combination of discipline+flexibility. Pain in ass.

So how are you going to make yourself do the right thing this time, user? This is an important question. I've been through a similar thing, and clearly we can't trust ourselves to "just be calm and just hold the right coins this time", because something in our nature make us prone to over-trading/gambling/panic or whatever.
I found the solutions for myself, they may differ for you. This is something you need to work on carefully, though, or the same will happen.
30k. Peak was 45k.
jesus none of you actually have any money for real. fuck, whos gonna buy these shitcoins?
I am fucking zero. Not kidding you. In since summer 2k17. Ride some rockets, exit too early, buy shitcoin hoping for magic pump outta nowhere, shitcoin dumps, go negative. Rinse and repeat. At least I havent lost any money, but shit is fucking eerie. It is like a curse.
i invested 3000 and am at 11500 right now
matic and harmony IEO mostly
I think for every crypto Millionaire, there are hundreds or thousands of people who lost money in this market.
>29yrs europoor, 330k EUR fiat here, not from crypto
50k in 2017
Getting back in the game with 1k about a month ago. So far so good
-$50 just about
+-0 after two years until the dip yesterday :(
You made out like a bandit compared to many of the pink wojacks on this board
I invested 6k in eth in januar 2017.
Then sold all at 300usd in june 2017.
Started buying antshares at average around 2-3 usd with all money.
Sold all now neo at 30 usd in august 2017.
Bought raiblocks for around average of 0.5 usd with everything. And sold all my now nano at 50x. Then cashed out everything to usdT in january 2018.
Bought back into bnb at the start of 2019. And sold all bnb at 40k sats.
Now I hold only BTC. Life with money feels good.
put in 10000, now i got about 150k
haven't cashed out anything though, hope i get to 5 mill in the next bullrun
if this is true, how much are you worht right now?
I think my vision is starting to suffer
started the year $2K in the red, now over $2K in the green. Still poor with barely any income, but managebly so. I don't understand how anybody can have possibly lost money on crypto. All I did was swing LINK back when it was still under 50 cents, ride the Fantom Binance listing pump and sell immediately after, ride VIDT from 22 cents to 45, and then buy into LINK again (which I don't currently plan on swinging or selling again any time soon now that it rockets up a dollar in price randomly every month).
>buy coins that are shilled on Jow Forums ONLY if you research them and they have a solid, original usecase. ignore/filter otherwise
>pay fucking attention to the news and telegram groups for your coins, I was able to get back into LINK right at the Google pump was beginning because of this
Did lose money on Matic and SkyCoin, though; I will admit.
I'm not even mad because I had initially invested in ripple a while back at $0.60 and through smart trading got my average ripple down to 0.46$
it feels like im the only loser who didnt make any money
>get in march 2017
>20k in 66k cash out
>still have 40k in crypto
I could have been a millionaire if i wasnt so stubborn on shitcoins
$2 milli- uh i mean, fiddy bucks.
>Why no mister tax man I have not been avoiding you, why do you ask such a thing?
-7000$ Almost down to 0 I have like a few hundred left,Im about to que liquidated in a position , Then I will have barely 300$ dollars left,I will open a final long position on ADA and lose my 300 last dollars
At my best(When I had the most in crypto) I was only down -2k$ ,I had 5k$ at that time btw.
Pictured: Sam Hyde, March 4th, 2070
As of now maybe something around 400 €. But I havent cashed out, so yeah...
Made about 9k in dollars, lost about .5 BTC all in all due to holding shitty ETH
At least I didn't hold through 2018 though
I've made around 12k with initial 20 bucks. It's just luck though
How? What did you buy?
