Passive income

What was your first passive income Jow Forums? how did you attain, how much money and time you spent on it? Where are you now? better? worse?

I have 3-5k I am willing to invest into an asset to start some passive income (20 yrs old), but I am not sure where to go and what to do. What would be the best way to invest this money? I already have crypto so that is already covered

Pay a busty girl to talk over you streaming fromsoft games on twitch for donations.

I don't think that would work too well she would just take the money for herself

I run a Minecraft server. This is what I made in June.

Rent and dividends, that's it really.

How do you make 13k a month with a minecraft server? Last I checked, minecraft was an autism simulator and not much more.

How does keeping a Minecraft server running make money? Explain to a soon-to-be boomer.

Would you explaining to me the process/expenses to do that? it's something I've thought about in the past but never took the first step due to mainly lack of knowledge

Send me an email at [email protected]

X to doubt

He's probably telling the truth but it's not something anyone can just do and repeat the success. Once a server gets popular it snowballs and everyone just wants to be on that server. He's probably got specific mods/configs that you can't just easily replicate if you don't know anything about Minecraft and modding.

Huh, ok

"self improvement" is a jewish coping mechanism to distract the goy

Can you ein servers for different Games?

ITT middle class general

I don't doubt he is making that money, Minecraft has a lot of servers with perks and packages you can buy. I know it's not a do and repeat success, but if I can get a nice comfy server making a bit of money in the beginning, I'm in

You know if that user is kind, he would have put some shares in his server to some of biz bros who are willing to do said business.

One of my mobile apps went viral.
(Finally, after almost a decade of releasing lots of garbage apps)
Back at the peak, it was earning up to $30000 put month.

Now it's down to $2500-5000 per month, but it has been 3 years since the initial spike so I'm not exactly sad (but I do miss that first year of earnings).

I also threw in like 20% of everything I saved from my earnings into Bitcoin at like $1000 in March 2017. That has since ballooned to be much much bigger than anything I have earned, saved, or invested.

I'm now just waiting for the golden bull run to become rich beyond my wildest dreams, but for now I can just hodl my BTC while I spend my passive mobile app earnings.

Depends if the game has dedicated server software you can run or if it's proprietary "online only" matchmaking like LoL or Fortnite. Also Minecraft is a huge community with a lot of staying power (it's been around for over a decade now) and obviously not every game is gonna be like that, most games come and go with the trends and only last a couple years.

Yea, not saying you can't make any money, but what he's doing (if he's really making those numbers) isn't a simple as downloading the server client and shilling his server IP. He's basically developed a SaaS around the Minecraft server.

moar. what services can you sell?

I'm not the guy running the server but I would guess he is selling some kind of cosmetic skins or badges or something. I don't think it's legal to charge money just to have membership to the server, unless Microsoft/Mojang has changed their licencing.

bump for more ideas

I gain 30k per year through dividends, but I reinvest them all into more stocks. Thinking about buying a house and let families rent it.

I wrote trading bot and it earns me around 1BTC per month. I intend to save the gains and buy some real estate to diversify my passive income stream.

Do not even care about Passive Income unless you have at least 3-5 Million LIQUID.

1 BTC a month is pretty impressive. BTC is guaranteed to go to 100k either next year or the year after so 10 BTC will be real money if you hold it.

I have a rental property. that's all

how do you even fucking sell out running a mc server lole

how much do you have to trade with that you make 1btc/month, You got like 30+ btc right?

>making 6 figures running a minecraft server

literally the ideal life. i wish i was you user. can you work remotely?

Rental property?

Nah, I rarely go over 5 in open positions, but I keep 10 just to be safe. My bot gives a steady 15-20% profit. Trading 30BTC to make 1 would be pretty much like placing orders at random and sometimes getting lucky.

Players can pay for ranks on servers. Ranks give a player access to perks and stuff that non-paying players don't have. I've seen some ranks on servers be $300 before, but they're generally about $10. Ranks don't carry over into other servers, so each server has its own rank system. For example: Server 1 has VIP ($10), MVP ($20), and server 2 has Donator ($5), Elite ($20), God ($50). I've never heard of a minecraft server that pays its staff team either. Regular players of the server can apply for staff to just moderate for hours daily, banning people with cheat clients and muting rude chat, etc...

The whole thing pretty much scams kids of their time and money, but the owner made a profit at least.

how do you go on about creating a bot trader? what language? how do you implement it? are there guides on how to get started/the basics?

Are you mining crypto on your phone? Check out the Pi Network and Electroneum (ETN). Both coins offer free mining on your phone. Go to their respective websites, read them and download the apps.

You'll need an invite code to begin mining Pi.
>Use "Moonshot" if you don't have one already.

Electroneum is open for everyone but you can get a boost by using a referral code.
>Use "C729B6" if you don't have one already

When you're up and running just lean back and let the coins trickle in.

Good luck.

My XSN masternode cost $1500 and i'm going to make it back within 6 months. After that's it's daily profit. I'm going to retire from the decision I don't care what anyone says, stakenet is changing the entire crypto space and fixing the crypto scaling issue.

Any language will do, I guess. I did mine in c#. The main thing is sending API calls to exchanges to get price data and open/close positions. Then you come up with strategy, implement analytics and functions to run simulations on historical data so you can tune your strategy and you're good to go live. No idea about guides, I did it all by myself, but I have 10 years prior programming experience. Writing a bot is actually easy, coming up with reliable strategy is the hard part and sometimes one tiny change to a variable can be a difference between making profit and losing everything.

Scamcoin

What app was it user ? Did you code it yourself ?

but 20% compounded each months you'd be billionaire in two years, its gonna start failing at some point

Has anyone ever tried renting our cars? how is that like

>Minecraft server
wasn't this a 2009 thing?
Is it still posible to make money with Minercraft?

How should be a server to be attractive?

>He's basically developed a SaaS around the Minecraft server
A Saas that is helpful for what ?

dividends

its taken about 13 years but now i'm getting about $20K in passive income every year, and it would continue to grow about 6% without reinvesting the dividends or adding new capital (i do both) every year.

I'm consistently looking for other streams of passive income but that's my grand daddy and in all likelihood if i find another stream I'd just invest it into dividend stocks

and what stocks do you hold and how much?

my guess is that he probably has about 750K in dividend producing stocks, maybe less depending on his dividend growth rate.

once it starts compounding into the thousands per year, its basically on autopilot

this

this is a retarded take

the earlier you start earning passive income the more time you have to let your passive income create its own passive income (i.e. dividend reinvesting creating enough passive income to purchase a new share, to create more passive income to purchase more shares, etc.)

I'd buy it. It's not so different from private mmo servers that charge for stats and level resets and shit like that.

This user lies about the pi coin mining rates. If you use code galaxybrain you will get 10x first week bonus rate and 1.25x bonus rate thereafter.

Based. Dividend aristocrats?

T-teach me

>Can you work remotely?
>Minecraft

You dense mate?

why do they decide to stay on your server instead of another?
Does it exist a Fortnite server?
How could I profit from Fortnite?
ONly developing objects?

then the recession wipes out all ur gains u have to be autistic to be holding at the top of a 12 year bull run. Even if they have a p/e of less then 10 it will still crash -60%

Not really a passive income but it worked. I hav been buying cryptos for a while, I buy everytime there is hype for the project and sell it in few days and has always made 30-40%. Raven and Harmony are the hyped projects now for getting listed on binance cex. Take your call babes

Who is here on a moon mission with Raven? Get in the bus/train or flight whatever you prefer we are going a long way up!!
