I don't know about this "losing marketshare" thesis.
I'm not sure that people will really be cancelling for other services. Disney and the rest will really have to nail their interfaces, algorithms, and selections to get people to think "this is the best and I don't need that other one anymore."
I've been meaning to cancel my audible and crunchyroll subscriptions for like a year, but I never get around to it, because it's just too convenient. And I'm a cheap bastard, imagine what the average consumer who doesn't mind carrying a credit card balance does.
bitcorn "slight" up n down swings, i think you can invest in bitcorn but it is gambling at this point there is no really reliable market data etc. anything can happen. well, even top 100 companies there is not reliable market data as even enron (dow jones listed company) nobody in accounting suspected anything, so muuuch smaller companies can report almost anything they want i think :D

no one expects the stock to recover to whatever pre-diultion price you're seeing
basically, when a dilution occurs, people who hold then get boned, but people who then buy in after the dilution are just hoping for the stock to rise to some target price based on the post-dilution number of shares
especially if multiple dilutions occur, that years-ago price you're seeing doesn't have any bearing on anything. you just want to be able to buy shares now and have them grow, but hitting any previous price isn't important

basically either they come up with some new AMAZING show that forces everyone to subscribe for $20 a month

the slowly bleed subscribers to other services they try and cut costs to keep subs but even that doesn't help they keep burning money to make shows but nothing helps they die, grave next to blockbuster
or amazon buys them, but only after they fall a lot more
