Back then, internet search engines weren't really a thing. Would you have thought back then that a search engine company (google) would eventually reach a market cap of 0.7 trillion? Over 20% of the whole stock market? Ridiculous, right?
What I'm trying to say is, we have no way of predicting how disruptive technologies will grow. And we have a tendency to underestimate the effects of compound interest in the growth of the general economy.
ps: Just for reference, right now 0.35 billion is a bit over 1% of the total US stock market cap.
