pretend internet money will be a big part of any potential AI run economy
Mason Myers
Nigger, the moment, the literal day there is a working general purpose strong AI, there is no longer a thing you can call economy. And if they just improve weak AI sufficiently to slave away, then this
Jonathan Kelly
>It's just a matter of time before real wars are fought by AI Thats how its actually been happening for the last 10 years. Stock Markets been running on Algorithm/AI code for a while that no one knows/wants to shut it down, it may fucking collapse civilization.
David Ramirez
Why AI cannot beat me at Runescape?
Nathaniel Robinson
by abusing the shit out of Stalker blink, not from any kind of decent strategy. AI is still pretty stupid.
Benjamin Taylor
> AI isn't already a part of life but it's gonna be oh no Shits been around for a while dumbass. Nothings going to really change except society will be better off with better tools. Kys
Tyler Lopez
Dont forget Watson winning jeopardy
Kayden Foster
How is it not a decent strategy if it works?
Wyatt Gutierrez
Each time it's a programme specifically made for the task having run through millions of trials to get it right.
Nothing remotely like AI and no more a threat than a calculator is to physicists.
Levi Reed
Because it's just essentially using an exploit that normal human behaviour can't. Not indicative of being widely able to win.
For example in a quake death match a bot could flawlessly bunny hop until he's pinging around the map at 6000mph and dab on everyone, it doesn't really mean it's a better player as we take that to mean, it's just got direct computer control.
Mason Campbell
True and not true. You can now run simple neural nets on standard hardware. Every single task can be given its own neural net. Calculators can do one thing, but once you have a the equivalent, a neural-net-calculator if you will, it can do anything you let it work on overnight. Shit, you can even ask it for the optimal way to fold fucking t-shirts.
David Parker
Also, the programmes are called xxxZero because they have no input from humans, only the rules of the game. Not specifically written for the purpose like normal chess engines for instance.
Andrew Russell
We can’t even recreate the cells inside of a brain, how are we supposed to recreate the functionality of one? AI is so far away from anything we could possibly conceive as human intelligence. Listened to a great podcast with Naval Ravikant where he btfo’s AI and sets it at at least 100 years away. youtu.be/QGYbbLWn-IE

Even ai will need to use chainlink though, think about it
Mason Sanchez
this though, its just because sc2 doesn't allow normal people to have access to its API
it would be easy to create an stalker algo that "blinks away at when targeted / damaged" reducing the gulf in the a.i. advantage
Matthew Martin
>that normal human behavior can't This is the point isn't it? I understand what you're getting at, that it isn't really a well planned and executed strategy, and instead is just "outmaneuvering" the human player with superior micro-management which is not indicative of higher lateral thinking. But what if superior micro-management and lightning fast response time is at some technological point the winning darwinian strategy in politics and economies?
Yes, thats the point. You also understand that playing any computer game you are playing it on it's home turf (cyber space). Just imagine if the computer would need to control the mouse and the keyboard.
Noah Hughes
I'm not sure to what extent this thread is Jow Forums related but just a day ago I uploaded a length video coding a simple machine learning routine from scratch - could be useful to get into it
