When the major exchanges are listing and we're at $1 there is enough fomo and buy pressure to get rid of a 100k stack easy. The circulating supply will keep the demand increasing and FOMO grow.

The thing I want to know is how the success of the business affects the value of the token. Let's say V-ID captures the market and does billions of validations around the world. Does that effect the token price? If so it might be crazy to even sell 2020.

The token is being used for the validation. A percentage of the used tokens for validation is being burned every month. So the availability of tokens are deminishing overtime decreasing the supply and increasing the demand which is a factor for price increase. Ofcourse it depends on onboarding more clients, but untill now more clients seem to be interested using the service.
If a 100k+ whale can post a message here related to VIDT, signed via PGP, I'll market buy $3k and post proof. It isn't hard

A market buy of $3k will pump and dump directly, not really interesting for whales as liquidity is to low to proper swing trade with large amounts. This will onyl work with larger exchanges.

Honestly if you think 30k is larping then you have a lot of low expectations or must have never seen real money. I am by far the poorest of the people in my group who has invested in crypto. 100k Vidt is far from larping.
