Has anybody here tried making money on the side with youtube? I recently started a channel where I upload really low effort reddit shit (takes me like 30 minutes for a 10 minute video) and despite not promoting it I'm slowly getting more and more viewers and subs and if the trend continues like this I think the channel will soon be pretty profitable compared to the effort.

>if the trend continues like this

That's the hook.

Can you be more specific about what content you create?

My guess is he probably makes those text to speech reddit videos

Is your question literally just if there's someone who profits using youtube?

I tried ~2 years ago, but then I realized that I couldn't make money from posting news videos and shit so.. I quit.

What kind of videos?

Videos people posted on Twitter. For example, I downloaded videos from a terrorist attack that JUST had happened and uploaded it. Like an instant news feed but for youtube.
It worked great aswell because every video I posted got thousands of views because it was posted when the event was extremely fresh. So I reached the viewer count I needed to apply for payment and shit in like 3 days, but they said no because it was not my videos.

Ah I see, I thought you were making original content

if you wanna get in, do what the crypto tubers do.
>load up tabs for every bit of crypto news today
>welcome your audience
>summarize each story while you click to the next
>tell em to use your links in the description so you make more revenue on stuff
>tell em to see you tomorrow

Oh dude, this is gonna go well

I remember seeing a channel that did the same thing, but I think he must have been a young dipshit, because one was about an outbreak of tornadoes, but he used footage of a little breeze pushing a plastic bag around on a sunny day for one of his videos. Got thousands of views and tons of hate

Fuck no, I don't have time for that.

Yeah, I also got a lot of hate kek'd. But it's all about making money from doing as little work as possible. I for example used titles that always generated views because people came there to hate on me for using those titles.
But like I said, youtube refused to pay me thanks to the new guidelines so I deleted the channel. It was just a project to see if it worked. I had my friend code a program for me aswell that downloaded Twitter videos with a press of a button and instantly uploaded it to youtube aswell. It all would have worked in pre-2015 youtube.. sad.

Just know this can end for you at any time for any reason.

I gave it up. It lowered my stress levels and raised my income levels.

80k+ channel.

Making $100+ a day over on autopilot uploading reddit text to speech

Travel vlogs are literally the easiest to make money, except when you’re traveling you have to have the camera on 24/7. For me that takes the fun out of traveling since you’re not really experiencing anything genuine. You are literally trying to filter out the mundane shit if traveling while not experiencing it with genuine curiosity. Every time I’ve traveled aboard and stopped to take a picture I felt awkward. It’s better just to stop and smell the roses instead of stopping turning in your camera, getting a good angle, editing the photo and filtering it for normies/wagies.

If you're in it for the money make shill and hype crypto videos. You've got to make sure the titles are all caps and the thumbnails have red arrows and circles pointing to random points on charts.

>THIS COIN IS THE NEXT BEST THING
>TOP 5 COINS IN 2020
>WHAT YOU SHOULD BE BUYING RIGHT NOW
>HOW I TURNED $1000 INTO $100,000

If I remember correctly there are four ways:
>ads (annoying and not very profitable)
>links (amazon links to anything for traffic money)
>direct marketing (absolute red flag for me as a viewer)
>influencing by wearing stuff (allright if authentic)

I have an askreddit copy pasta channel (literally my name)
Made a few thousand bucks on it, but it's saturated now imo.
