I used to be someone that thought Bitcoin was dead and never cared to get the facts myself.
I see the truth now. I did my own research and realized what people were saying about the potential of Bitcoin. I vividly remember the gears clicking together in my head while reading an article on Blockchain. What was it like for you guys? What were you doing that made you realize it? Do you still stick to that belief? I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences.
When did it finally click for you?
nah it's a fad. Fun to jump on board and make money here and there but that's it. No project will ever be really used or mainstream. Credit cards exist.
bitcoin is going to hit a million dollars. if you want to retire early just pick 1 bitcoin up.
what's the usecase for bitcorn? store of value? wtf does that even mean. it's a slow as shit coin.
bitcorn is devil, mark of beast and etc.
i have a flip fone and suits me fine
For me it was learning what smart contracts are all about. Then I bought the 0x ICO and got my first 10x
As the market evolves we’re beginning to see the use of bitcoin as a replacement for cash might have been over blown. That said, it’s stood the test of time for transferring large amounts of value successfully for many years and it’s not going away. More and more progress will continue to be made in the blockchain space, and there is money to be made. You just have to pick the projects that will stand the test of time, just as Bitcoin has.
its shit, but it makes people money so it will stay alive and well
This
I guess everything since 2009 has stood the test of time right?
Want to guess what happens to crypto when a real recession hits?
It moons because it's supply is constantly reducing while governments increase fiat supply during recessions.
BTC would do great in a recession, eth would be rekt tough
>Having an epiphany that bitcoin is the future makes you a disgusting neckbeard, goy.
Unironically kys
(BTW it "clicked" for me in 2013 when I read the original Satoshi whitepaper. None of that cringy shit in your meme applies to me.)
use words, dumb faggot
I couldn't stop talking about crypto when I finally made sense of the bitcoin white paper. Now i know better and don't talk about it to anyone who isn't already balls deep into it. I stopped dating because I don't even remember how to talk to women.
6"1 MED BVLL HERE,
I TOLD EVERYONE AT WORK TO GO ALL IN BITCOIN WHEN IT WAS 3,800$
NOW EVERYONE THINK I AM A MILLIONNAIRE (I ONLY HAVE 4 BTC)
ALL THE CRYPTO-BROS I MET IRL WERE SOMEHOW SUCCESSFUL (BUSINESS ANALYST, REALTOR, OWNERS) WHITE MEN
it doesnt moon because of low supply but because of demand. Low supply in itself means nothing
>Gotta get in early on these things
It's safer than stuffing your mattress with cash and more convenient than owning gold.
>what's the use case for real money?
that's you asking the dumbest question of all time
Credit cards will never be used lmao. Everyone uses cash, the few who don't can write a check.
>...and yet he still browses Jow Forums and hasn't made it yet
Nice LARP lad
Wait, you didn't know Jow Forums is a message board on Jow Forums? Wherever you are from, you should go back.
BTC is only useful for global trading and that's it. Globally there will always be people that gamble and BTC is good for that. There is no use for crypto currency. Nobody can give a tangible use case that benefits people in the real world. It's always some dumb tired argument that people use to justify shitcoins with no use.
This. Why the fuck would I want to borrow money???
It cant scale enough to be cash. It also needs miners to keep it secure. People who buy bitcoin do so to cash out when new bubbles pop until it becomes useless. Great ideas dont always stand the test of time. There are better alternatives to bitcoin.
I know these feels
just like gold & silver mooned during recessions, right?
might want to look that up, lmao
Prove the value of bitcorn faggot. It's not a fucking currency. What a fucking stupid statement.
U just triggered the BTC maximalists LMAO
sold all my bitcorns for link
Well said, Name one BTC developer that's right no one knows any. Core is made up of junior developers at best with 0.1 Rep and 0 memes to their name (its 2019!! memes got Trump elected, so no memes = no development). Just Sergey alone is more well know then all the BTC core devs combined excluding Satoshi since hes MIA. It wasn't always this way Vitalik was a Bitcoin Developer but BlockStream wouldn't let him contribute since their Goal is to slow down Development, they are owned by central banks after all.
Except they did you brainlet
>When did it finally click for you?
When I realized that bitcoin being slow, unscalable, and totally market manipulated are not problems, but in fact features.
Oh no, look how much gold "fell" from 2007!!!
