There are no "in demand" fields because the government just imports people to drive down the wages because industry lobbies for it. The only few fields that have avoid this to a degree is medicine (because the number of grads who graduate is capped, as residency placements) and law (very nepotistic and not considered "in-demand" so you can't import workers on a work visa for it).

The government is going after every single avenue that could afford you a decent upper, middle class lifestyle. Then again NPCs deserve this because they deny the basics of supply and demand, and are fearful of being caricatured as racists for arguing against skilled immigration (i.e. "dey took our jewbs").

Sometimes, I wish I had spent more time going out with friends. I wish I had pursued my relationship with a girl when I had the chance but I ended up working all those hours when I was in my early 20s. What was the whole point of all this? Either go for Medicine(you don't need to explicitly major in biology though just take the necessary electives and then apply to a secondary education program with the intent of becoming a Doctor, PA, or a specialized type of RN like a CRNA), Computer Science(normal SWE roles or Quantitative route), Applied Math(Actuary or Business Analyst), Business/Finance(Target schools only, go become a consultant or investment banker afterwards),or just go for the passion degree but do it in a not retarded way(best friend went to state school for film, degree, paid 24k for his whole education, and actually spent time in his program looking for realistic and practical jobs and now works in the AV department of a hospital making 70k a year).

Also if you fuck all those up you can always bail yourself out and get a job as an Account Executive or Solutions Engineer at the right company, you can make well over 140k per year within the first few years doing one of those gigs.

He has some points, but if you don't realise employment/wage-slaving is a meme in your 20s you deserve everything that's coming.
