patrician

How is a popular song "patrician"? God, you faggots need to realise that this type of shit isn't obscure or reserved for those with refined musical taste.

TOP KEK

Cars are not investments they are consumer products.

its just a meme calm down you fucking faggot

Hey now, depending on country, you could buy some cars that hold their value really fucking well - like some Toyota pickups...

Hold their value, sure. Not more than that really.

The cars that quadruple their value in the first year of their existence are limited edition Ferraris that you can't even buy, or that aren't even offered to you unless u are a known collector and Ferrari friend.

By definition a deprecable asset.

No.

You guys are retarded. He's asking about a limited run super car, not a fucking Ford Taurus. Exotics with low mileage that are well kept pretty much all appreciate in the grand scheme. A lot of regular 80's and 90's car Icons have already hit the bottom of their depreciation curve and are starting to skyrocket back up as younger generations want to experience 90's driving excellence.

Meh, you can get much better if you had bought into Vid earlier in the month. Sumat like a lambo I guess...

I could probably sell my car for the same price I bought it, and I could easily sell my bike for double what I bought it for.
I broke even on my last car too, if you ignore fuel and insurance.

80s and 90s cars are already overpriced. People are selling NA MX-5s for $10k now.

Probably your last chance is a ZZW30 MR2 before people realise how based they are and start charging $30k for them.

They are not exactly rare.
Price was rising for a long time and is stalling right now.

Most cars, sure. But that ceases to be true when dealing with limited run cars like Ferrari and Lambo. Or classics like the 69 Charger or the Shelby Mustang.

No. I used to own one. The cost of running the pile of shit is insane, it's drives like a boat and is uncomfortable as hell with a twisted driving position. 3k for oil change every 1000 miles or every six months and you can't do it yourself as you need the stamps in the book to keep the value. And finally you will never sell it for what you want they are so hard to sell and any buyer wants everything perfect so big bills ahead... Nice to look at from a distance.

>you will never sell it for what you want they are so hard to sell and any buyer wants everything perfect so big bills ahead
Then you should be the buyer instead of the seller. Buy it used and make a big deal out of small issues, clearly the seller will have trouble selling so you can get a large discount. This is Jow Forums after all you should be looking at every situation and see how to be the one getting the advantage.

Its impressive how many retards are in this post. High end cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini appreciate if they are well taken care of. I know several people who have bought either one kept them for 5 or 10 years and then sold them for 2 to 5x as much as they bought them for

yup I'm a millenial and I want to get a MR2 or a NSX

yes but it had its buy signal in 2009 at 45k. I could tell you what has a buy signal now, but Id rather take that opportunity and fun
