Not everyone has paid off their mortgage before 30 user. Unless you are fortunate and live with your parents you are likely paying rent. Not everyone is free from health issues either. A lot of people carry debt. A lot of people have student loans. You are presenting examples of frugality to extremes if you think most people are able to live on $30 a week in food.
