You're not this much of an idiot right? Cars are the 2nd biggest cost of your life behind real estate and possibly healthcare (if you're American). With the advent of the web, you can literally become your own mechanic and do simple repairs on comfy old Japanese cars. Read about all the billionaires, Mark Cuban drove $200 cars all through his 20s and also lived with roommates consistently so he didn't pay full bills. If you want to make it, you need to start using your head more Jow Forums-iggers.
$10k isn't that big of an expense, dude. What are you, poor?
Carson Rodriguez

Cooper Gomez

Jackson Gonzalez
This is even better if you have the option to My message is towards those who haven't made it, aka poorfags. Please contribute something more useful instead of just shitposts.

I'm 35 and never owned a car. Cars are for morons. I just get people to drive me, use the bus, or use a car share service. This is main reason I'm not poor like majority of my friends. Cars are the calling card of failed wage cucks. I'm planning on never buying car since Tesla taxis should be everywhere soon.
Jacob Long
>35 i'm sure you had friends go >dude why don't you have a car?? like bro?
do you have any debts?
Lucas Mitchell
Yeah I get that all the time. No debts and 700k in globally diversified Vanguard funds. Best decision I ever made was to stop caring what other people think.
Brandon Sanders
you don't take walks? only ride by car? i use my bicycle sometimes
Christopher Turner
My car has air conditioning in the seats it blows cold air up my sweaty butt crack when it gets over 80 degrees
Chase Baker
I walk and bike lots too. Walking is probably main form of transportation as I live downtown. Get all my groceries and purchases shipped to me.
Luke Myers
what job you got? software?
Samuel Ramirez
Yeah software development.
Kayden Jackson
when you go out with a girl you do like old movies and pick a cab in the middle of the night?
Brayden Brooks
One car cost me $200 + $500 in repairs. The other cost $600 + $200 in repairs. Would recommend wrenching.
Levi Wright
I like having a nice car though. And currently my car is worth what I owe. In 2 years it'll be worth 10k minimum and be paid off. I plan on getting new exhaust tips and buying some flow masters to make it sound meaner. I'll probably drive it for the next 10 years. Feels good.
Austin Brown
Usually Uber or use car share if lots of stops. I have a subscription with a car sharing service so usually works out fine as long as I book in advance.
Isaac King
Also I usually do something outdoors like a hike rather than something expensive as dinner.
Jackson Roberts
Gunna call bullshit on making 150k a year and not owning a fucking car lmao.
Alexander Baker
I tip my hat to you, Sir
Blake Barnes
I make $120k a year in my current position not $150k although I make a bit extra on top from dividends with large portfolio. Don't know what you find so weird. I am trying to do FIRE and a car is not required for that. Of course I could easily afford a used $10k car but it would slow down my time to retire by a lot with maintenance and insurance. Car is a money pit and not having one forces me into good habits like walking for exercise. You should read Mr Money Mustache articles on cars.
Mason Edwards
>earning $150k a year >cheap used car is going to affect me retiring early by a lot
You can get a cheap banger that costs nothing to run.
