You're far better off long-term buying IOTA. Fantom is like IOTA but with fees + relatively tiny team + less impressive partnerships. At $0.30/MIOTA, you will be kicking yourself that you aren't buying this today. FTM might be good for a short term hold; I just sold mine this AM for RSR.

Feeless as in there are no transaction fees. Oracles in IOTA's Qubic will charge a fee for their computational services. Re keeping things in check: Yes, in order for data provided by a Qubic to be valid, a "quorum" must be reached or a consensus between other Qubic nodes of at least 66%. All Oracles that provided valid results get paid while invalid results do not.
