a lot of the chainlink partnerships point towards the best use cases for smart contracts in the world of business and finance outside of a medium article about how they "in theory" will remove specialized fields. i used to be a paralegal in beijing but i never heard any sentiment about smart contracts taking over contract law so that makes bytom partnership interesting to me. all of the different fields that start working with chainlink make it exciting to read about. i don't really think anything of decentralized lending (doesn't seem like trust based lending really works without collateral) because it'll take years before that even launches. i don't think big breadcrumbs will happen anymore now that they're announcing partners. it's more about looking at those partnerships to get an idea of where cl wants to take their company in the future.

Both, in all likelihood. Companies will run their own node for information they have access to, and will pay to get access to information they don't have.
