I used to be a gamer when I was a kid till about 20. I played a lot, lots of consoles. I guess i burned out because now i cannot play one for more than 10 mins before a nagging feeling creeps in and i feel like a loser or just not having fun. I also think games are just not good these days, they are all about getting zoomers addicted to buy-able content and shit loot crates, and the single player games all try to intimidate movies, which, you know, games arent. Sometimes when on youtube looking at old speedruns and shit i read the comments and these people are fucking cringe as shit. the soi leaks from the comments. Why the fuck are gamers so annoying, whiney, and soi? They cry about EVERYTHING, yet they go out like cucks and spend $100 on a fucking videogame despite crying about it like a child. I dont understand.
Is gaming in a bubble? are they gonna keep sapping money out of soibois forever or is it peaking?
It's not just the gaming community. Look at any community. Look at Facebook comments under news articles.

I'm hype as fuck for Borderlands 3, just purchased the GOTY version of the second while it was on sale for $15. Gonna sink some time into it until the third, that shit is fun as fuck. Otherwise I haven't found a solid game in a minute, that Detroit 2036 or whatever the fuck it was was pretty decent but it's worth $10 at most as far as replay value goes.

>I also think games are just not good these days Yeah mainstream AAA stuff mostly sucks but there are plenty of indie gems. Have you tried Factorio, Kerbal Space Program, Mordhau, Grim Dawn, etc.?

All games contain internal economies. That said, it would be nifty if we could get a list together of Jow Forums specific games like Recettear, Moonlighter, Transport Fever, etc.

>Factorio, Kerbal Space Program, Mordhau
Those are literally the only games I play at the moment.
