boring af and im kinda winging it, but im shagging a saucy bird in HR so lifes good
just quit wagecucking to start a business. i don't even care if i don't make it - i'm never wagecucking again
I am dying.
My body is putrefied and is being eaten from the inside out.
But if only you could see the state of my soul
boring i just sit on my phone browsing Jow Forums all day
i did this in 2016 and i missed out on the golden bull run of 2017. I spent 100k on my buisness and that would of made me 10 million in bitcoin. my buisness failed. you should get 21 bitcoin before you quit so you dont miss the platinum bullrun
based
just don't date her
shitting where you eat never works well
All in crypto. Rich or rekt
>start a business. i don't even care if i don't make it - i'm never wagecucking again
It's still wagecucking. Albeit with a plausible illusion of being free.
T. Business owner
sorry rajesh, im not pumping your old and busted shitcoin with my startup funding - sorry that your tech support scam center didn't net you enough google play cards
by that logic making money == wagecucking. we all need it to live, and i'd much rather work on my terms and time; even if i get financially obliterated in the process, i still won't be answering to someone else's vision with my limited time in this universe (this is a wagecuck)
>i still won't be answering to someone else's vision with my limited time in this universe (this is a wagecuck)
Your customers/clients are your bosses.
Yep and if he screws up instead of getting fired the ZOG will throw him in jail and seize his assets. No vacation/sick days and regular 50-60 hours weeks. Business owners are the apex wage cucks
you're a retard.
at least you can sell your business.
can you sell your job?
nope.
having a business is always better.
Actually pretty good, I got promoted and work full time now as a banker. The next step for me would be a job at Merrill Lynch since they make fat quarterly bonuses, like an easy $7k every quarter. I need another year of financial services but I was just on call with the regional market executives 2 weeks ago talking about my future. It's also nice to help fellow wage cucks out with some recoginition awards and recommendations.
my commute is 12km on the highway at 3am
I work in Big 4 tax. Hopefully I'll get promoted to senior associated within the next year. If not, I'll probably go into industry. I've passed the CPA exam but keep putting the application off. I think I'll actually submit it this week.
Quit yesterday. "Careers" are for slaves.
i bet $100 you're from the UK
what was your job and how are ya gonna sustain yourself?
I'm from Boston.
Living hell. Gonna lose my shit and turn into pic related any day now. Only 40 years to go.
> Boring af and I'm kinda winging it
My career is really a mystery to me. I took a decent sized promotion early in the year and moved. I've been in my new role for about 5 months now. I barely do anything beyond sit in my office and browse /biz, or trade while at work. All I have gotten is constant praise, and another company just hit me up to see if I'm interested in a position, and threw out a salary about 20% higher than where I'm at. I just roll with it really.
Just signed up for college for Mechatronics. I hope I didnt fall for yet another meme.
What are you supposed to be doing? You wouldnt happen to be african american would you?
pretty good. work from home when i want, well respected and highly paid. stress is getting to me lately though.
welcome to the tech industry
I was an engineer. I got some money saved up and around 100k in crypto. I do hope I get on state bux though, I'm starting a masters degree and according to the info I gathered I should get around 800€ in neetbux every month. I own a flat so that money should be enough to sustain me.
I'm managing a distribution center
Not even, at least most of tech has degrees, as worthless as they may be, I've got a HS diploma and a 58K salary in the midwest
'bout ready to commit not alive because my only marketable skill was programming but I gradually forgot everything about programming from disuse and I am too socially awkward to do anything other than "thrifting" or one of those online data entry scams. I have principal but not enough to safely earn much interest and, no, I'm not gambling it away on [insert flavor-of-the-month cryptocurrency].
how are you eligible for state bucks?
You deserve to be quartered for this cringe as fuck post. KYS and suffer immediately.
All but given up on it. Unemployed 2 years now. Embrace poverty.
I live in Germoney, if you worked for at least six years and decide to do a bachelors or masters you can get in on the money train even if you have some shit saved up or property.
Much better than when I started. For a while I wanted to neck myself but now that I've carved out my niche and grown a thicker skin its not so bad. Just passed my first operator test and have my next one scheduled in a month.
>> Km
How many burgers is that?
damn that's a nice deal, I would do that in a heartbeat if I didn't live in Canada, just about to hit 6 years of work...
>>mystery to me
Yeah, cuz larping requires mental capacity that you lack
I'm an HVAC engineer. That means I have a mech engineering degree, but I'm not that good at engineering. It's okay.
>Coworkers constantly flex on each other about who works harder, stays later, has more emails to go through, like any of it matters
>Sometimes I have to work on projects where we design disappointing resorts for Disney's timeshare scam (google Disney Vacation Club) which is not very rewarding
>Your job is to follow the code. It is impossible to be good at it. You're either doing it right or you're fucking up horribly.
>Because the job is to follow the code, it makes conversations painful because my peers are insanely risk averse and they don't dare question conventional wisdom.
It sucks enough to motivate me to do FIRE. I don't tell anyone at work about it, but I'm putting 70% of my income in index funds. I'm on pace to retire at age 35.
that's a damn good deal
Changing my major to Networking/Sysadmin, gonna follow the advice of Remote Pentest/OSCP user
what's your target FIRE number? how close are you to it?
I have my first phone interview soon for a telecom engineering position at this company I work at. I'm not sure what salary should be at, but I'm gonna aim for 60k-72k when we get to salary negotiations.
My what? I just don't drive a car, eat lots of cheap food and invest all the money that everyone around me spends on drinks, meme vacations and car payments. Math says retiring at 35 is a possible goal for me. I only wish I started doing all this earlier.
HAHA!
Based and checked
I make 40,500 as an accountant who barely does any actual accounting, just data entry.
I have to pay for my own health insurance. Only good benefit is a 3% match on the 6% I put in of a 401k. Downfall is a long vesting period.
I feel I'm being shafted and trying to get another job.
Digits aside, I dunno why anyone would larp managing a distribution center, it's just stupidly basic work
your FIRE number is the number that covers 25x your expenses, so you can safely withdraw 4% a year as per the trinity study
I figured since you used the FIRE acronym you would know what that is
Oh I never heard it referred to that way. In my current location, 500,000 is enough that I'll feel safe walking away from my job. I'm at a little over 100,000 right now. I want to move to Wyoming or one of the Appalachian states to retire so maybe I could do just fine on a little bit less.
Sounds like a good plan and good luck, user. With $500k you can easily withdraw $20k a year to live off of
Applied for a really good position and they're calling my references
I am currently stuck in intern hell though
enjoy that system before all the migrants suck it dry
Thanks, I'll do my best. I made my job sound worse than it really is. I do a lot of work on hospitals, too, and it does feel good designing cancer centers and operating rooms that will save lives every day. I just care much less about "the multiplier" than upper management would like me to.
It's alright. Work for a major pharma and do stability/QC for pills on market. It's a lab job and I like hands on work and the data I produce is somewhat important, and my coworkers are pretty chill. When shit goes wrong (and it often does because shit just happens) my boss is pretty level headed and we work through problems. It's pretty busy most days but some are really easy. I'm a contractor now (no PTO or benefits) but just had my interview for a permanent position and I feel pretty good about it. I take home about $890/week and throw $500 on link every Tuesday
Do not listen to this man. He not knows about the platinum bull. Top buy the platinum bull now.
Millionaire within the next 4-7 years depending on market returns.
Comp Sci degree.
Work my ass off most weekdays.
USA #1
I'm a roofer. Go to school part time and in 2 years should have a math BS. After that I'm either gonna go into commercial building inspection with my daddy or neet with them and get my MS in math at a cheap state uni so I can get big boy bux.
Honestly it could be worse. My manager lets me get in two hours late because we have staff shortages and he won't dare pressure me.
No, you‘re good.
Mechatronics is a fuckin meme degree.
When it comes to engineer degrees, stick to the classic studies that have existed for 30+ years:
Civil
Chemical
Electrical
Mechanical
Everything else is too specialized (i.e. requires specialization/masters degree) and will get blown out when the economy takes a temporary nose dive (recession).
Alternative: Computer Science (still requires Calc 1, 2, 3)
>Your customers/clients are your bosses.
This is such a brainlet allegory. You should be embarrassed, dumbfuck.
How many bosses have you told "fuck you I don't need or want your business faggot?"
That's right, zero, because the boss would just fire you and you'll spend another 6 months looking for a job.
With the customer, you can refuse to take their shit and you can call them a faggot if they're being a faggot. Because you have more customers.
I bet you also think that business owners have to go through job interviews and submit resumes to their customers. The customers also make business owners fill out 45-minute online personality surveys or we won't get the job!
I just started college and got a part time job at a computer repair shop. Wish me luck Jow Forums! My wage slaving is gonna last for decades starting now!
115k a year to do something I love. I’d say it’s going good.
I hack from home. No commute. No management. No guidance. $150k/year. feelsgoodman
i only work part time so im pretty comfy. 20 hours per week is the perfect balance between feeling like a useless neet and feeling like a trapped wagecuck
Idk even know anymore. I'm 25 and I feel like I will never figure out what I want to do with my life. I've tried school, but I was too dumb so I dropped out. I switched majors like 3 times and just left with an unfinished business admin degree. I even tried the learn2code meme, but also failed in that. I feel like I will be working shit jobs for the rest of my life.
Chemical is a meme, all the processing is usually done in third world countries and a mechanical can fill in for anything a chemical does.
Software engineering is missing from your list
Mech eng for local government work 7 hours a day $80 K answer to no one. Not on the big bucks but that why I invest in stupid things like shitcoins
You're being shafted. My work also has a similarly disappointing match rate, but at least all funds are 100% vested. Good luck with the new job!
I wouldnt call it a career, more of a hamsterwheel
Petroleum engineer. It's a seriously boomer industry. It will take a very long time to get promoted within the same company. So I will be looking to hop jobs in the coming years.
My data solutions company isn't growing. I need some new methods for getting customers.
My economics blog is growing well. Though it's not like I make much money off of it, just a little advertisement. I'll write a book eventually.
got a link to your data solutions or blog? I work in the derivatives industry in a field which specifically is heavily reliant on trade data analysis
keen to see what you've got
I'm you from the future. 30s and still serving tables. Kill us now please.
In case anyone needs a quick and simple bitcoin QR code tool for sending and receiving check out:
This automatically changed the address to one that was not my own
Get the fuck out faggot
Everything you submit on that website converts to this address

Our department went through two rounds of layoffs and now absolutely nobody gives a shit. Literally no work gets done. Barely anyone even shows up at this point and those that do just surf the web all day.
I mostly chill out drinking coffee and listening to podcasts. Pretty based actually.
thanks just lost 100
Triggered? You knew what he meant. Don't be dense/autistic.
Can you share that advice? I was looking at trying to break into cyber security
My career is flipping UND, so, real well.
you buying that dip too?
I'm starting college in August majoring in the maritime industry. Hopefully become a ship mech engineer. Otherwise I might just become an electrician or some shit, but that doesn't really pay well, because I live in the socialist Netherlands
If you can't find a well paying job in the NL you're a fulltime retard.
First job fresh out of school had me jumping from €2700 to €3650 and currently €4100 without counting other benefits.
Life like this just isnt worth living.
And did you do HBO or went to university or are you doing a trade? Please don't tell me you went into programming.
>Please don't tell me you went into programming.
why
programming
Jesus christ
you nordic people are rich cucks
i will
Because if he does anything other than programming I might have some hopes for my future, because I never will do programming
well shit
It's not very hardcore stuff though. Went to uni for data science.
how old are ya
>netherlands
>nordic
u wot m8
20. I'm scared I'm too dumb for the maritime academy and that I will drop out. If that happens, I'm afraid I don't want to work using my brain, so then I'll probably get into a trade. Even though we have better benefits here in the Netherlands, I'm still jealous of tradesmen in the USA, because of the high wages they can get.
you'll be fine user
t-thanks, y-you too
Lol I almost installed telecom gear with two older guys, their office was a shoebox directly across from a Comcast warehouse. Didn't see myself going places desu
