Today's losers IT destroyed 18% on reporting. UAA -12.5%. No love for this old fad stock. COF -7% on data breach. Sell puts? HCA -8% missing estimates on reporting.
The stocks I am invested in are being boring today.
Easton Flores
This GEO conference call is actually interesting. Their ICE centers have an average stay of 2 months. Air conditioned (of course? They're near the southern border) and something about flat screen TVs. Guessing they watch a lot of Judge Judy.
Holy FUCK Rat must be a rich man today, JJSF listed as one of RH's top movers, a quick +13% like nothing at all.
Damn it I forgot to it. China move may signal move back into cloud stocks
It already made the move ;_;
STEEL user YOU DA REAL MVP I think I'm going NUE, I can't stomach buying AKS after that big move
Nah, I went short on Apple instead. I think AMD will kind of disappoint investors, if they beat they'll beat by a small margin. So.. I think we'll see small moves on AMD after earnings which is why I'm going Apple instead.
Cameron Foster
It really needs to stop and crab for the next few days otherwise my calls are gonna get assigned
>Made $1000 on call >Can't sell quick enough cause volatile >Only make $200 >Buy puts >Down $1000 Fuck this meme. I'm investing in hookers. Guaranteed profits
Cooper Reed
>shorting AAPL into earnings
you've got some cajones m8. even average results could make the stock pop. its p/e is only 17, still 3 points below the p/e of the S&P 500. plus its balance sheet is more spotless than a texas instrument's clean room

Green Giant I mean BGS earnings in 2 days Find out if the large specs were right soon
>COF -7% on data breach. Sell puts? Maybe, give it a day or two though. Things could always get worse. There's gonna be fudd framing this like expirion and talking about their massive settlement.
Austin Wright
>It already made the move ;_; up today but still only 13.5 VIX and 14.7 /VX It will normalize to 17%+ eventually.
Dylan Brooks
>mark in the thread today? Mods!! Normie names aren't allowed, trips are tolerated.
I'm ready for a loss if they decide to pump it, I got a perfect short entry so couldn't miss the opportunity
Levi Collins
HEY FRENS! What do you think about Denny's, reporting after-hours? Seems like the type of low-end company that could benefit from barbell ecomommy? Or will high consumer confidence mean people spend money at high end diners?
I haven't been to DENNY'S in 6+ months, it's okay for getting work done sometimes, free wifi and refills of coffee.
And I bought a TWILIO because I'm a big FAT idiot who didn't realize they could still go much lower because Apple could crush tech and then Twilio reports tomorrow.
>One of my biggest bags is now +20% from my basis God damn it... I wish I hadn't sold so much ;_; But the lack of diversification was getting dangerous.
Yeah I had too much in lptx so I sold before the big dip. Now my biggest bag is NBRV options, but my ride on NBRV is finally coming to an end soon so I'm excited

Doesn't matter until the data comes

I'm pretty skeptical on the fundamentals of SSNS. Their clinical data is okay but not great, and their drug only works on B-cells, so it's limited to some types of blood cancer.
mark can you just stop playing hard to get already? just tell me what the fuck's happening and gonna happen with the stock this week. for FUCKS sake mark. FUCK
Luis Bell
if people know a company's earnings are gonna be good/exceed expectations, how does a stock typically behave in the week leading up to the earnings?
Hunter Torres
What's for lunch /smg/? I'm thinking a nice supreme pizza sounds good.
Aiden Diaz
It's a low volume day. People are focused on other stocks and nobody is selling their SNSS because we're all waiting for the conference call on August 6th. HODL.
> I think AMD will kind of disappoint investors, if they beat they'll beat by a small margin.
But that's to be expected. They even said that in the last earnings call that Q2 is kinda meh since it's directly before Ryzen. The thing where they could really shit the bed is by not having an amazing Q3 outlook.
What concerns me is why they postponed the earnings call by almost a week. What could be the reason for that?
>What do you think about Denny's, reporting after-hours? Seems like the type of low-end company that could benefit from barbell ecomommy? Or will high consumer confidence mean people spend money at high end diners?
Low grade diner for struggling 'merica. Not cheap trading at almost 28x next years earnings. Not as premium price as SBUX right now but still looks bubblicious. The p/FCF is good. Maybe we can get it on a pullback or sell deep ITM puts.
They make me good money. And they are expanding in Cali finally, people have been waiting for it unironically, and they are building like crazy. It’s gonna explode in the long term

Cracker Barrel has retarded customer retention. I was a manager for several years and saw so many old people eat at least twice a day there. They are selling the new fried chicken like it's crack too. High upside with Cracker Barrel and has a dividend too.
Isaac Green
yeah... that's why I'll be taking profits before the conference call. Maybe I'll miss out on a moon mission, but maybe I'll buyback lower even if the results are good, and this seems to be the disciplined way to do it.
I think it's a method worth exploring, anyhow.
BTW, you should start looking for OTHER companies that have drugs that would work well with Keytruda.
>Merck Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Frazier reiterated that Merck would focus on "bolt-on" deals rather than a large, transformative acquisition.
Patents don't look to expire until June-August 2028, so still some time to milk it.
Based on current economic conditions, the Federal Reserve has decided to raise interest rates 4%.
There will be no questions at this time good day

>I already have other biotechs/healthcare companies in mind for after GALT you should. GALT name kicked around here looks like penny stock pump and dump BS
